i need your help. ano ba dapat ehh lagay sa schedule 1 yung sa personal history. I put in my application that i was a RN from 2005 up to present. Dapat ba talaga date which your application was received. i read in other forums that "to present" is not applicable. I am worried that my application will be send back to me.

My friend and I put "Present" on the TO part sa personal history and everything na nagrerequire ng period of time na up to present ung tinatanong. He's on medical now and ako late na ok nagapply so hopefully ganun p din treatment nila sa ginawa ko sa application ko.

Yesterday I received my 2nd AOR from Manila. They received my file on October 8 and the letter is dated 10/21/09 and my lawyer received it yesterday. So far talagang after 2 weeks of receipt they issued the AOR. Nakalagay nga doon ay wait for 45 days to received further instruction or notice.

Hello Reydon,

Hi! Immig_roy,

As long as you have a file number, you can checked your status in Ecas. Choose immigration file then enter your last name, date of birth and country of origin. Goodluck!

Bonsai,

In the other thread, someone from Buffalo received an email from CIC that his visa is now ready but will not be issued in 2009 because they have reached their quota. I think this is the reason why they are slowing down things there, and I guess as 2010 enters, Buffalo will again be the fastest as it used to be.
There are more applicants in Manila than in Buffalo, basing from the old scheme Manila takes 5-6 years to finalize applications while Buffalo takes only 2-3 years. The reason behind is the number of applications received.
When 2010 starts, Manila has more applications to process than Buffalo. The more the longer the process it would take.
If I am a Filipino residing in the US and will submit an application, I will still choose Buffalo as my local visa office. Just my thoughts... please dont take this as an advise...

A2C....sad to hear that but there is always a second chance...you may want to try again....ive read before that the other applicants who did not meet minimum points withdrew their application....and they reapply again....im not sure if they successfully got back the refund....

in your case if you will not be able to provide them all the necessary documents (including the IELTS) then there is a probability that they will reject your application....nowadays it is very risky not to get the minimum points....have seen applicants here that were rejected by visa office because of that.....

other kababayans what are your thoughts on A2C's case.....

thanks.....

Hello everyone. Bago lang ako dito and I would like to ask kung papano mag-apply as a skilled worker to Canada. It's for my younger sister who is a Registered Nurse here in the Philippines. Approximately how long is the processing from the submission of application to getting the Visa? Infos would be highly appreciated. Thank you :)

Jireh,

Congrats! I have a close time line sa iyo kaya I'm watching the movement of your case. AOR ko is dated 10/21/09. Malapit na din yan.
