I have a few questions which I hope someone can answer.
I am an accountant and have worked for 13 years. My first job was as auditor (2 years) and now I have been working as Financial Analyst in a manufacturing company for the past 11 years. My question is, do I need to provide certificate of employment from the auditing firm I worked for?
I already secured the Transcript of Records from the University where I finished my degree but I learned that i need to submit a TOR in a "sealed envelope". Do I need to secure TOR again?
Lastly, about proof of funds. I know that they will be requiring liquid assets, however, at tha moment, we cannot provide the needed amount coz my husband and I invested on real property. We intend to just borrow the funds from our parents/friends and submit certificate of time deposits. But we plan to borrow the money when we already received the request from the CIO. I submitted my application Sept 24, 2009. My question is, do they investigate or do they ask for the history your acocunt from the bank?
Thank you very much and I hope someone can enlighten me on these concerns.
God bless us all!

For me, if that is available then no harm in providing that to CHC

For me, you have to get it in a University Sealed envelope to avoid questions

I do not think they will investigate from the banks considering the Bank Secrecy Law
Thank you very much and I hope someone can enlighten me on these concerns.

@aspireaspire said:You applied after the new law was passed (Feb 27, 2008), but before the ministerial instructions (38 list) which came out on Nov 28, 2008. That was a provisional file number that was given to you, but it was not yet known if it was eligible for processing. When ministerial instructions came out, the local visa office gave a benefit of the doubt that you might be eligible for processing that is why they forwarded your file to Nova Scotia who is responsible to screen and decide if your are eligible or not under the new rules.aspire said:0111: Financial Managersebsonjohn said:Here's my case
I have applied under FSW Class on July 25, 2008 thru the assistance of a broker/ representative using the Simplified Application Process. I received the file number thru my representative on September 1, 2008. Then, on April 2009 I received an update of my CAS stating
"We started processing your appication on August 25, 2008.
We transferred your application to the Sydney, Nova Scotia C50 office on March 16, 2009.... office may contact you."
And after a while, it was later updated to
"We received your application for permanent residence on August 1, 2008."
I am confused on this. My NOC is listed 0122 (Manager) on my application as advised by my representative but I worked as Manager in a Financing Company for 2 years in addition to 3 years of Bookkeeping in same company. Am I eligible for for the urgent NOC list needed?
Does my application form, in any way, affect the result of my status? Since the application form used by my representative is the Simplified Application Process (SAP) but during the time of the application, the new guideline was already in effect which is the use of the Generic Application Form (IMM0008).
Since then, I have not received any status update on my CAS. What will I do at this point of my application? Any help will be very much appreciated.

Hi,
Above are the list of NOC's eligible for processing under the new rules. You can read more details in this link - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp
If you are a Finance Manager then your NOC should be 0111. If your consultant used the NOC 0122, most likely it will be rejected becuase it is not in the 38 list.

Good News! My ecas status is already "In Process". They have started processing my application last Oct. 1. Hopeful that my medical request is on its way!
Jandi, hope your status is also in process na para magkasabay na tayo.. : )
Hi Ebsonjohn, I wanted to help you but I'm not familiar with the simplified process. Have you received already letter from Nova Scotia stating that your job is eligible for processing? Have submitted full documents to Embassy of Manila?
I'll try to browse the website and see if I could help your case.
God Bless!
