Hi seniors, I have a question for those who already received their PPRs. Is it indicated in your PPR that passport should not be expiring in less than one year?

quoted from the PPR letter...

Your visa(s) will be valid for your initial entry to Canada until __/__/2012 .
Please ensure that the validity of your passport(s) is at least six (6) months beyond this validity date...

;D i think yun validity date po is the date of your medical exam + a year...

no need for the red ribbon...better request original copies from your school... ;D

Appreciate if someone can help us

We applied as a commonlaw partner in 2007. In 2010 was able to attend an interview in Abu dahbi UAE. as per ECAS our status is Decision Made then we approach our consultant and he told us that our case has been denied and he ask to pay money to re appeal ..We ask for a copy of denial letter pero wala ciya mabigay. San ba puede mag tanung kung ano talaga status . As what i read meron dapat letter na ibibigay if denied. Tama ba na although decision made na sa system ng cic posible ba na still open pa rin ?

Thanks

Kung sa London ang visa office mo, you may email them indicating your name, DOB & Immigration file number.

God Bless.

Hi everyone po..

I recvd my CSQ under Quebec SKilled last week and now planning to apply for my Federal Part. And ilalagay ko nlng po ung "other"? UWe po kase ako sa December 2012 this year. And iniisp ko baka by this time nde pa tapos ung application ko..

Appreciate much po sa magrereply..

thanks po..

hi, afaik di kasama ang parents as dependents. kung kapatid naman, dapat less than 18 yrs old ata. regarding medical, baka mas madali for you kung san ka mas matagal stay dun ka apply kasi mahirap follow-up kung sa Pinas.

good luck.

Dependents di kasama mga kapatid/parents only spouse or children are considered dependents.

HELLO FRIENDS. LAST APRIL 13 I RECEIVED NER FROM CIO. THEN I EMAIL THEM ABOUT MY REFUND OF PROCESSING FEES AND BELOW IS WHAT I GOT FROM CIO.
GOT THIS REPLY FROM CIO ABOUT MY REFUND. PLS ENLIGHTEN ME....

Thursday, May 3, 2012 2:58 AM
Good Afternoon:

Please be advised that your application was assessed and it was determined that the application met ministerial instructions. It was placed into processing and failed on selection due to insufficient points; therefore, no refund will be issued.

Thank you,

Subject: NER (REFUND OF PROCESSING FEE)

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your e-mail. I will just retake my IELTS and probably to get higher points. When can I receive my processing fee. My understanding is you will refund it.

Best regards,

The payment was for the processing fee sa CIO. Your file was processed so the service was performed for your application. First thing they do is check if you met the instructions e.g. properly-filled up ung forms, complete documents & basically no errors on your application. You were denied lang kasi based sa assessment nila ng submitted documents mo eh you lack the necessary points to pass the 67pt requirement.

I had the same issue before pero sa akin naman di denial, but they didnt pushed thru with the credit card charging or payment of processing fee since may nakalimutan akong pirmahan na document which translates into my file not being processed.

Settlement is so important for the first few months upon landing. Getting a job is one of the most important thing to get your new life started. For those who are landing or recently landed in Toronto, I know of a work opportunity to get you started. Send me a PM so that I can send the details.

Hello All! i am also new to this forum and so far i have read 10 topics with numerous threads. Its very informative and a big help sa lahat na gustong mag migrate.
I also need help in my first stage of applying for federal skilled worker class. My current situation has changed ever since my husband opened up to me last february about his wanting us to migrate. I went to a consulting agency and they suggested to me that i need a doctor to certify my work as a clinic nurse for a year or two since i have a BSN degree. Ang problema lang sa akin kasi matagal na ako nag graduate and nag practice lang for 6 months sa hospital tapos nag iba na ang aking career, naging bank teller for a year tapos nag insurance sales for more than 10 yrs till now. That's why ang pasok ko is FSW. Noc code 6231..

Hopefully magkaroon ng noc 6231 for this year para maka apply ka with your family. By next month siguro lalabas ang bagong list. Goodluck :D
