“hello seniors... some help plsss... I have my previous application last Sept 2007 and received AOR last Feb 2008 and got my File number.
Last Jan 2012 I applied again under FSW NOC 7241 Electrician. But when I checked MY 2007 E-CAS STATUS , I saw another line for my second application the Jan 2012 and it stated the following:

We received your application for permanent residence on January 19, 2012.

We started processing your application on March 1, 2012.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

what is the meaning of this??? I also checked status of my DD with my bank here in Philippines and they said it was encashed last Feb 20, 2012. some seniors, PLS HELP...”

fyi you cant have 2 pr application at the same time sa cem. so you have to withdraw one before the other can be finalized. the fact that one of your application's bank draft has been encashed shows that processing took place and having decision made status can mean denial or just informing you to withdraw either one pr application. either wy they will inform you through a letter soon.

Hello!

To my fellow nurses, help po! Though I am not an FSW applicant, I know that my fellow Filipinos will help me with this. I am an RN supposedly applying for an FSW but fortunately had seek an employment in Calgary as a live-in caregiver last year. My employer is trying to expedite my application and somehow successful. I have passed my application along with all the documents last August 2011 and finally, I am now scheduled for an Interview with the Consul on March 29, 2011 with only 2 ID's to bring. I have no idea with what's going on with the interview. BTW, i don't have medical request yet just English proficiency and i have sent my IELTS results. Please give me any idea if this is a good sign or what to expect. Thank you very much for who would devote time for my query. God bless us all!

if i may answer, im a filipino too. anyway, just be consistent with the information you have provided before in your application.. and also information about your employer and the nature of your work there. the medical request will come after the interview if the consul will be satisfied with your answers. probably 1-4 weeks after. Well i think its a good sign. just do not be complacent too much as the bulk of the decision will be on the interview. God bless you more. ;) ;) ;) ;)

dear Big Mike,

I already called up CEM and they said it is ok to have 2 applications simultaneously. they will just process it based on the rulings the time i submitted my application. till now im still waiting for my PER/NER. i also emailed CIO but no reply yet.

oh just to clear things lang.. you can have 2 PR application but before one can be "finalized" (meaning PPR stage) one should be withdrawn. Thats what we did before we had FSW & PNP PR application. Bad thing is ung Processing fee of 1,100 (me & wife) was foregone kasi they already started processing our the PR application we withdrew back then. sayang hehe 45k din un hehe. Ayaw lang namin itake ung risk na madeny sa isa hehe. It worked out for the best din siguro atleast mas panatag kami na 2 application kami nun hehe.

I am a Roman Catholic, I attend The National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians here in Pque. You know what I post a query under the prepare for an interview and someone replied that maybe something came out during the background check so just to clear misconceptions they requested an interview. I am just puzzled because they did not want me to bring anything except ID's and I was only informed through phone. is it the usual way?? Now, I am forced to memorize every single details of my documents. I know i can get through this with the help of the Good Lord. I'll just be honest and composed i guess :-) Thanks anyways

interviews are required if the VO needs clarification. memorizing the details would be good. more importantly is the way you should answer the VO. remember, the intention is to clarify things that you've written. you can do it :)

Hello cp3isaIII, sorry for not immediately corresponded you. Ganito ang sinabi nila. Pag RN ka na, you are qualified to apply under LPN dahil ang Job Description are most likely sa RN lang din daw. Help me again please? Thank you.

hi jinny! pasensya na sobrang late na ng reply ko, natabunan na tuloy yung questions mo. medyo na busy lang. sorry talaga. :)

for information on the step-by-step guide in applying for fsw and how much the fees would be and where to pay, please read this document: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf . pag may other clarifications ka, don't hesitate to post it here. i'm sure a lot of our members here will be willing to answer and help you. Good luck! ;)
