Hi,

I share your dreams and I have started gathering the documents and will apply soon.
Your help please in validating my understanding plus some queries:

If qualified under the 3 categories:
1. applications to be submitted at CIO in Sydney NS
2. if eligible, CIO transfer the files to visa office (manila)-notifies applicant of next steps etc. and begins processing.

On visa office documents:
3. The "Certificate of No Record of Previous Marriage", it says in all cases, must provided - including kids?
4. For proof of a relative in Canada. My relative is old - birth and marriage (1912 and 1936) certificates are not available at NSO, i was told their records are from 1945 to present only, what can i submit instead?
5. Up to date letters of references from past employers, my company have closed and my CEC is dated 2007, what can be done?

Good luck to all

hi,
let me answer your questions.
1.you send your initial application to sudney ns. send only application forms, mailing labels, principal applicant's passport photocopy and payment.
2. when you are approved by sydney ns you will be sent a letter to submit your documents to manila in 120 days. you don't need to complete your documents now when applying to sydney you can apply now and complete your documents later.
3. the CENOMAR is applicable to the applicant and dependents over 18 years old only.
4.you can submit any birth certificate from the civil registrar if nso is not available, a family tree and birth certificates of other relatives that show relationshipand proof of residence in canada
5. you can submit what you have with you and just make an affidavit explaining why you cant provide some of the documents.

good luck kabayan.

jtob ....

Hello Kabayan,
Go to PRC, they will notarize it. Good luck!

CPA2CANADA,

I submitted my original Certificate of Rating and Passing and ask a notary public to certify a photocopy of my PRC license. Which i believe Manila Visa Office accepted. So far so good.

Thanks Maybell and Power.....maybe i will do the same dubmit the original Certificate of Rating and Passing plus the PRC Cert (Original)..nandito po kasi ako sa Saudi Arabia...and mukhang d ko na maidadala pa sa PRC....

Hey guys,

can anyone enlight me what does CIIP means?

Jtob Congratulations your so near to the finish line!

Jtob congratulations!...malapit na po yan...

canadian immigration integration project (CIIP) is a free service offered by the canadian government's foreign credential recognition program. i think its a 2 day voluntary seminar where you can get information on economic trends, occupation demands, workplace culture and job search techniques, help in credential assesment and recognition.

it's free so i'm joining the seminar. the more information we get about canada before we go there, the better.
