I think your experience as an RN in the Phil. and auxillary nurse in the UK will be fine, CHC is only looking for 1 year experience in every NOC but the thing is you got have that 67 points to qualify. Your UK experience will fall under NOC 3233 and you got to have those docs from UK.laila_729 said:Hi!
I need help! I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and now I'm planning to go to Canada. I'm having problems with my work experience because I'm not quite sure the immigration office will accept my experience as a carer.
I have worked and studied in the UK for a year and a half. During my stay there I worked as a health care assistant/ carer/ nursing auxillary staff. Prior to that i had 3 years experience as a registered nurse in Manila.
I really need an additional one year experience for me to qualify for Canada. Do you think Canadian immigration will consider my experience in the UK eventhough its not the same with the profession I will apply for???
thanks!!
thanks for the reply! at least now i know i have a chance... fingers crossed for the immigration to accept my experience in the UK...if they do i'll have a total of 67 points! thanks again!!!501 said:I think your experience as an RN in the Phil. and auxillary nurse in the UK will be fine, CHC is only looking for 1 year experience in every NOC but the thing is you got have that 67 points to qualify. I suggest that you include it in you package since they will check based on completeness of your docs, moreso, NBI clearance has one-year validity so it would help alot it processing, check my timelines...when i submitted my docs completo na lahat so wala na sila hinanap pa na additional docs sa akin...kumbaga make the assemenet easier for them, by providing all the needed docs.miguelboogle said:hi everyone.
is it true that the nbi clearance should be included in this july 2011 applications? thanks
salamat reynold.REYNOLD said:HINDI TAYO EXActly the same, pero sa mga dates ng duty ko nag-ooverlap sila. bakc then i was teaching in college part-time, then full-time working sa office nman...i submtted for both jobs. just make sure that in your certificate of employment naka-indicate and duty-hours/days, salary mo, duties and resposibilities mo, company profile, among others..kasi yun ang titingnan nila.
hindi pa. kukulangin ako ng 2 points if 3 years experience lang ako as RN.REYNOLD said:With your three years experience hindi pa rin ba kaksya ang poINTs mo? would you mind sharing your other qualifcatins based on cic self-assesment test? how about ielts? madaling makakUha ng maximum points dun.try to complete all the documents including NBI by now, so that by July 1, sned mo na kaagad kasi madaling mapuno ang NOC na ina-aaplayan mo...yan yung pinakaunang napuno last year...and double check the docs submitted ha...good luck!
