Kiko, wala ka narin ba bridging program whatsoever? as in u r eligible to take the exam without it? gusto ko kasi magregister din either sa vancouver or toronto.. tagal nung sa saskatchewan, nung oct 2009 pa till now wala pang eligibility
and saan sa tingin mo mas madali, sa vancouver or toronto? pareho lang kasi na meron kami distant relative.. landing lang sa vancouver.
one more thing, ilang weeks bago mo natanggap yang forms from CNO? thanks kiko!
ok wait, i am not eligible, i was answering in behalf of bonsai kasi naka-usap ko sya way back. i wasn't eligible because i do not have the enough subjects and i do not have the experience the will satisfy their qualifications. now, cno is making sure that internationally educated nurses will have a tough time. they are protecting those nurses na nag aral dito, and their main argument is that we have only 10 years of basic education while their local nurses went tru 12 years of basic ed.
now, you can check the qualifications on the cno website, kung wala ka nung subject and meron kang experience pwede mong i-appeal yun using your experience as equivalent. pero hindi guaranteed un, nasa cno pa rin ang decision.
about saskatchewan, naku eh most of the people there are aboriginal, yung mga native, tsaka konti lang talaga tao, and according to my friend who is a nurse there, madami na sila nurses dun na pinoy and konti lang population, that explains your eligibility being delayed. u might want to consider alberta or manitoba, medyo maluwag sila sa nurses but vancouver and toronto, medyo mahirap dito... between vancouver nad toronto, toronto na lang kasi mahal cost of living sa vancouver... mag aaral tayo dito... ako from assessment ng nurse i change it to RPN para mgkatrabaho na agad ako.... so i hope i gave you a little idea of how it works, and what province to apply... btw, alberta pays more than any provinces sa nurses..
