I think its not advisable if you send your RPRF without their request, your application might lost out of track. Hintayin mo nalang it will come for sure in Gods time.

You can use both, either Canadian Embasssy, Manila or Embassy of Canada, Manila..I did use philippine currency thru cashiers check, pwede rin managers check.

Share ko lang sa inyo guys --- on june 16th, my 57th day from date of 2nd AOR, i emailed Manila VO asking for an update of my application, and they replied just this morning with this:

"This is in reply to your email with regards to the current status of your file.

Please be informed that your case is currently queued for the Visa Officer's review. We appreciate your patience and understanding and will advise you of the next steps in the processing.

I trust that this assists in advising you."

Sana huwag nang matagalan. :'(

kyle, in my personal opinion, sending your residence fee now w/o request is not a good idea... they will send you a request residence fee and medical request then may mga instructions dun on how to pay... in my case i didnt bother to pay in canadian funds since bpi lang ang alam ko na meron and cadanadian dollar is quite expensive... so i paid in philippine pesos less hassle pa... lahat naman nadelay ang processing kasi sa dami ng inapprove ng cic... just wait... patience is a virtue my friend.. they might just send it back to you and the bad thing is they will have an impression of you... so i think ha, u should wait...

Ako din I dont think its proper that you send your RF with out them asking. It could also be misinterpreted as being rude and not being able to follow instructions... alam mo naman ang mga puti, they are very particular sa pagsunod ng mga procedures nila...

Look at it this way, nakapaghintay na na din naman ng ganyan kahaba... so whats another day... and besides, kahit matagal ang hintayan, may development naman... kung sana from the start, wala pwede mo yon gawin as basis kaso kahit papano, may med request ka na... dont blow your chance... wag tayo gumawa ng bagay na baka pagsisihan natin....

but at the end of the day, its still your choice... like what I also said, diskarte mo yan...

it was a tedious and long wait for my medical request....at last today natanggap ko ang sulat galing mvo dated june 3,at sabi na am now advised for medical examination including my whole family BUT the medical instruction would only be given once i submit the passport-sized pics of me nad my family two copies each. hayyyy...wala na bang katapusan ang bitin na ito?

at advised na rin ako to pay for RPRF amounting to 42,000 pesos for me and hubby...at masworse me IMPORTANT NOTE pa pinahabol sa sulat that says like this:
In your signed application for permanent residence in Canada you indicated funds that you will bring to canada for settlement purposes. At anytime before the finalization of your applicationor before your landing in Canada you maybe required to demonstrate that these funds are readily available for transfer or use in canada. Failure to satisfy this requirement could result to refusal of your being granted permanent residence in canada. huhuhu...ang lupit naman bakit kaya ganoon? meron ba dito na nakatanggap din ng ganito?

at sabi pa na after ma send ko na lahat ng ito i have to wait 3-6 mos. for any ff up if needed or visa issuance.....naku, bakit ganoon? parang ang lupit nila sa akin...dahil kaya lage ako ng email?

sau2calgary, ano ba ang sinabi sa inyo, me IMPORTANT NOTE din ba tulad sa akin?

korek...at kyle consider my case parahindi ka kabahan... sobrang matagal din yung akin pero at last am now assured na me medical request na talaga ako...kahit pending upon submission pa of additional pics...THERE'S TIME FOR EVERYTHING...

tingnan mo timeline ko..sa lahat ata na nghintay ng meds req, ako ang pinaka una na nagsubmit ng fulldocsto mvo, pero huli nakakuha ng meds req...supposedly, sina hailo at char sana ang kalapit ko pero look at them now...visa na ang hintay nila samantalang ako...anyway, grateful pa rin ako


kaya, wag ka mag alala masyado..darating din yan...

anyway... that's a perfect sign of moving application and a light na one of this months PPR and visa nalang wait mo...
