Hi soon to be Canadians!

While all of you are still very active in this forum, just want to ask this now in advance...

Like... when medical request comes in, and I'm still in Saudi, but my family is in the Phils...

Now, do I need to go home (Phils) first to accomodate the medical?
Or can my family just take theirs in the Phils while I take mine here, separately?

Kaya lang pano ung submission ng result namin diba?
Supposed to be our medicals should be submitted in just ONE medical folder, right?

Did this kind of situation happened before?

For our kids!
plan2012,
hindi na aabot ng 2012 ma approve na visa mo, gawin mo ng plan2010.

re medicals, when you receive your medical request there, you just need to send your dependents form to manila so they can take their medicals in manila while you teke yours in ME.
the doctor sends the medicals individually, not together. they can send those without additional tests first and send those with problems later. its up to the embassy medical officer to collect the forms.

i'm not an immigration expert. i just get my information from the different sources available in the internet. i just have a lot of time in my hands to browse and read everything and pass on to those who need the information i get.
and i also don't hesitate to ask all kinds of questions. wala namang bayad magtanong e.
Good Luck everybody.

mga kababayan who did their medicals this june, we'll get our PPR this soon. I CAN FEEL IIIT! ( remember the shampoo advertisement?)

hello plan 2012,...

We are of the same situation... I am the principal applicant....,only that... the kids and I are here in the philippines and my spouse is somewhere abroad..
We received our medical and RPRF request last july 10, but was dated july 2, 2009.. The medical forms were placed inside one envelpoe together with the letter, including my husband's medical form. So what I did was send his form abroad together with a copy of the embassy letter. He just did his medicals last august 5 because that was the available sked...and the kids and I did the medicals last july 29. What I know is that it will be the responsibility of the DMP to send medical results to the embassy.

Good luck to you plan2012!

Thanks for sharing that unusual experienced, Che! You guys are really helpful.

And it's good to have a great pinoy in this forum, named: Jtob. Good to have u around...

CPA2Canada, after our phone conversations a few while ago... Bigla kong naisip ito...

Regarding the Job Description...

In one of my past professions, I was promoted to a Shift supervisor. (modesty aside poh)
But when my agent & I submitted the initial JD to the embassy in 2007,
we didn't write 'Shift Supervisor', but instead we wrote 'Assistant Manager/Unit Head' there.

And did you know that...
When I got my COE, my position written there was: 'Systems Engineer level 5' not 'Shift supervisor' nor 'Unit Head'.

Kaya lang...
If you have been an employee in my previous company, 5 is the HIGHEST level for Rank&file employees, which is simply = Unit Head = shift supervisor.

Now...
MULTIPLE CHOICE: Choose the best answer.
Once the embassy request for the final document soon,
What will I write on my final document?

a. Assistant Manager/Unit Head
b. Shift Supervisor
c. System Engineer Level 5
d. None of the above
e. All of the above

Mayayari ata ako... inconsistencies... haaay...
Guys, what's your final answer? ___

For our kids!

plan2012, or should I say plan2010.....

Share ko lang yung ginawa ko sa job titles na nilagay ko. Example, sakin NOC 1111. But under noc 1111, there are still lots of titles. I chose the title that best described my duties but the noc remains 1111.

Example I have an occupation name sa form na Auditor - Finance, pero sa COE ko, ang job title ko dun is Customer Fulfillment Professional. O di ba? Ang layo. Pero under that title, my employer listed the duties I had which included auditing among others.

So suggestion ko lang, choose a title in the noc you are applying for that matches your actual duties. Pwede nga several titles pero 1 noc lang, depende kung iba iba duties mo with different titles under that noc. The titles given by our employers are not recognized by the embassy anyway, it's the actual job description that matters.

Di ko masasagot yung multiple choice. Di ko nabasa noc mo. Basta whatever it is that is descriptive of your duties, kahit may word na 'manager' pa. Out na yung mga di listed sa noc, probably yung 'system engineer level 5' wala dun.

By the way, galing mo pala, highest level na ang position mo for rank & file. Nowhere to go but up!

Since nag post si jtob ng line from a shampoo ad, share ko naman ito from a vitamin ad: walang aayaw, tink pasitib!

Wow, that's so enlightening Mom2Karl! I hope when you, Jtob, che74, Aspire, Arexie, CPA2Canada, & the rest are already there in Canada, you guys would still continue to enlighten us here ha?

Pero 2 things...

What if out these 99 example title lists given, unfortunately, no title can be matched literally... Pero highly matched naman yung JD ko sa NOC 2241 na ito!

1. In submitting the final document, can I just continue using the same title taken literally from my COE in 2007, which was 'SYSTEMS ENGINEER'?

(Do you think, the reviewer might get surprised with my title...?)

2. Is it really a rule, that I should pick 1 from the 99?

Or,
I'll just simply ignore this 2nd profession of mine... Anyhow, it's has no-bearing on the 38...

All the best to all!

Para sa mga bata!

i like your color coded comments :)

my suggestion is that if there really is no title that can be matched to your duties, then just use tha main job title for noc 2241.

re: excluding, it's up to you, but one can really exclude jobs that doesn't fall under the 38 list. pero ako, i included an noc that's not in the list since i have duties there that are closely related to the functions of noc 1111. feeling ko nakatulong ito. who knows...

guys, any other suggestions?

@ arexie, buti naman at you were given a new 60-day period to do your medicals as you mentioned in the other forum.

"in everything give thanks!"

Hi jtob! - i got my request for medicals exams last saturday August 8, 2009 together with the request for payment of the PPRF. Tanong ko lang, I saw on some forums applicants from New Delhi, they got their medicals and PPRF fee request and also the passport request as well. Are there different procedures from different CIC office? mine was being process in Singapore since I work in Thailand.....

Thanks - scorpiof3

congrats scorpio!

the new delhi office was the fastest in processing when the new rules came out. they had their medicals RPRF and passport request in 1 package. but lately i think they have changed the procedure there also, i've read in some posts of new delhi applicants that their passports were returned when they sent it with RPRF and were told that it is not yet needed.
dito sa pinas, the medical request and RPRF letter states that the next communication in 3 to 6 months will either be request for additional docs or PPR.
i have not read of any other visa office that asks for PPR with medicals. based on trackitt timelines, the manila office is the 2nd fastest to process.

CoolEJ,

hello.... yes, totoo yan :) ibang iba mga job titles sa office ko compared sa job titles under sa noc ko which is 1111. very descriptive kasi dun sa noc. yung sa office iba kasi multi-tasking uso dito, kahit accountant ako, may marketing functions pa din.

ang status ko is for medical na. yes, ok lang di tugma sa COE, ang importante is ginawa mo talaga yung nasa noc na nilagay mo.

congrats for receiving the letter to submit docs!
