hi gico. any news from your end? have you sent an email to embassy? 76 months ka na din ata pero bakit wala pa silang pinadala na letter sayo.

Yes, I already sent a letter to CIC last week. Im just not sure if they'll make a confirmation of receipt. I asked the VO if they could send me an email confirmation of my letter regarding my new contact informations. Sana lang mapansin nila na matagal na appilcation ko. I'll update you pag nag reply sila

We were also 2005 applicants. All of our medical requirements were submitted in 4 August 2011 and we got our passport request on 29 August 2011. Good luck to everyone!

The Canadian Embassy, Manila, started processing our application on July 7, 2005. Nothing happens up to now. We hope and pray that before the end of 2012 they will act on all 2005 applicants. The length of waiting time has been so much already and there were opportunities that we let go because of our interest to migrate to Canada. God bless us!

hi gico. my friend called the embassy after a week to confirm the letter sent to them. you can call their hotline numbers or you can email them.. husband ko nag email lang and within 24 hrs mey sagot na sila. within the processing time pa kasi kami. pero on ur part, pwede ka na talaga mag inquire.. keep us posted..

hi nmiole.. we almost have the same time of processing. july kami nagsubmit and aug 2005 kami nakakuha ng file no.. hopefully maka rinig na tayo from the embassy. pray lang natin.. update lang tau dito sa forum natin.. GODBLESS

I'm from Cebu City and my agency advised me to retake na the IELTS test as the one I have nag expire na on July 2011. I've heard that here in Cebu applicants on February 2005 are being processed already. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Take care and may God bless us always.

hi. regarding your IELTS, since we belonged to old rules, i think it is not needed to do it again. i have read in some threads, if ur pre feb 2008 and upon filing of application sometime 2005 that is valid until the review of our papers. just what happened to my former officemates. the embassy did not ask for a new IELTS result. maybe you can ask other seniors about it. i asked also from a filipino who is now in canada, she told me in her case, feb 2005 AOR she was not ask to redo the IELTS. Hi guys,

For old applicants like us, there is no need to retake the IELTS. I for one took mine last 2004 and got my MR request last july 2011 without the need to take another IELTS exam.

Thank you guys for your comments about IELTS. Actually, I only submitted my IELTS result to the embassy last February 2011. I took it sometime on July 2009 hoping that the embassy will process the 2005 applicants in 2010. Nagbakasakali lang ako, I submitted it together with my diploma and transcript of records for my masters degree on February 2011. Honestly, I am hesitant to retake the IELTS this time baka masayang na naman, ang mahal pa naman. Anyway, it's nice to be in this forum at least we will have an idea of how the Canadian embassy had been acting to our applications around the globe. God bless and good luck to all of us!

Hi Vitomanolo!. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ilang tulog na lang, Hello Canada na kayo! I am happy for you especially you belong to the old rules.. at least gumagalaw na pala yung old applicants.. Grabe almost 7yrs din inabot, but it is really worth it.. I know nasa cloud 9 pa family mo ngayon because of joy... In God's time talaga darating din.. Dont forget us dito sa forum. Goodluck and Godbless!
