Yes it is. GT is the only one accepted if your applying for FSW.

If you look at Immigration Quebec website, it is not specified that you should submit GT result, they only said IELTS result. I also submitted AC result yet they gave me an AOR. Ibig sabihin tinanggap nila ung AC ko.

@richardrn, yes you can use either acad or gt in qsw but in fsw they specifically require gt. Thats the good thing with qsw they accept both

It looks like everybody is receiving aor, I hope mine will arrive this month. I filed dec 10, 2013., still no aor..or email, but im still waiting for my cc. Maybe it will reflect on the statement first before the actual aor is received.

Hi I would like to inquire what certain steps do i need to follow to have my education credentials assessed? Im a Nurse in the Philippines applying in Quebec. Should it be WES? request for Comparative Studies done outside Quebec? MICC? OIIQ? Thanks a lot.

Have a comparative evaluation on studies done outside of Quebec. The MICC does the comparative evaluation. You can get the form from the OIIQ kit. You also need to be assessed by the OIIQ if you want to be a nurse in Quebec. You can go to the OIIQ website and ask for a kit. Click the contact us and then write on the 'contact us by email' your request. Write your name and address as well. When you get the kit, start with the comparative evaluation first since this takes time (about 6 months). You can then pass your application to OIIQ later on when you get the comparative evaluation along with the other requirements of OIIQ. I usually encourage our forum mates to apply for the OIIQ when you get your QSC since it is costly. Bon chance with your application.

sir pj, tanong ko lang sana kung ano start ng file number mo if HA or DA kasi may nabasa kasi ako kung HA daw is philippine address tapos DA kung middle east. yung AOR ko kasi HA pero nareceive ko yung AOR ko sa middle east address ko. salamat sa reply sir..sa mga seniors nlng din dito pwede po ba maki verify kung tama yung information na nabasa ko.. salamat sa lahat..

File number ko is DAxxxxx....... Dito ko sa middleeast pinasa to Quebec yung files ko pero yung AOR ko was sent to my Philippine address. Pinadala nalang sa akin ng kamaganak ko.

ako dito sa middle east din pinadala papuntang Quebec ang docs ko and dito ko rin natanggap sa middle east pero HA ang file number.. ang weird lang kasi di ko alam kung saan nila binase kung saan address nila isesend ang docs. anyway salamat sir pj..

sir pj, sigurado nilipat nila yon sa ibang area, hindi ko nga lang alam kung saan. by the way, saan po ba kayo sa middle east? yung kaibigan ko kasi nag logde sya last june 2013 dito rin sa middle east at ang AOR niya is damascus. but sa case ko nga hong kong. i lodge mine last sept 2013 and aor ko december 2013 na.open but nareceive ko yung notice january 2014. ano kaya talaga ang ibig sabihin ng BIQ sa AOR.. nakakalito lng kasi.. salamat sa lahat.
