hello khai... i'm intrigued by the absence of BET in your additional packet... nagpalit na naman nga siguro sila ng process... hay nako... submitted my BET a month ago as well... still waiting and hoping to get a positive result... hi guys! sa experience ko kc i received a letter dated nov 26, 2010 indicating the additional reqts,also nkalagay din dun na i will receive further info about my application within 3mos. true enough kc khit hndi ko pa ncomplete ung requirements i received a letter dated feb 15, 2011 which stated the result of my application. so check nyo yung letter na nareceive nyo kc bka may timeframe na nkalagay.

buti nmn kung tinanggal na nila BET kc pandagdag stress lang!

may mga opening naman for RNs and LPNs dito sa lugar ko...right now I am working in a hotel and in a quick service restaurant, got to pay the bills....as much as possible I try to review kahit one hour everyday when I get home, my target to take the exam is this coming October, hopefully I will have my eligibility before July... ;D

may mga opening naman for RNs and LPNs dito sa lugar ko...right now I am working in a hotel and in a quick service restaurant, got to pay the bills....as much as possible I try to review kahit one hour everyday when I get home, my target to take the exam is this coming October, hopefully I will have my eligibility before July... ;D

thanks for the reply... saan ka dyan sa toronto? thankful ako when i get to talk to people like you... yung isang kilala ko, tita pa man din ng cousin ko, kulang na lang sabihin na WALANG TRABAHO PARA SA NURSES SA TORONTO... kaya i made a note never to contact her when we get there... so it is refreshing to hear that jobs are still available for us...

Ang toxic lang eh magtatake ka na nga ng mahirap na exam eh, papahirapan kapa maging eligible para sa exam na yun. Sana may grade 7 and 8 nalang tayo dito sa Pinas kung dun

member ako don paulferrer but i stopped posting and reading... naiinis ako lalo na sa mga admin, medyo di ko type ang tono nila... minsan parang nakaka discourage hindi ba? hindi lang pala tayong mga pinoy ang may trait na crab hahahahaha! but the pinoys there are really nice and helpful ;D

let's pray that we all get eligibility soon... madami survival jobs doon, that, i guarantee at andon ang sister in law ko ngayon and she confirms this... but since our ultimate goal is to become nurses there, let us do our best to have ourselves registered... napakahirap nga, nakakainis... di gaya ng amerika, basta na assesses ka at naipasa mo ang NCLEX nila, ok ka na... that's how much they trust their exam... sa canada talagang kilala sila na apura pahirap sa mga foreign educated professionals who intend to register with them... pero chika na din, talaga naman napakaganda nya and very nice ang mga tao... lalo pa silang gaganda pag nagsidating na tayo doon ahihihi!

hello tine_cute... if you don't mind, at what stage are you in your permanent resident application to canada na ba? kasi i suggest, you start applying for licensure when you are done with your medical exam stage na... from what i've gathered, unlike in the US na kahit tourist visa ka lang pumunta doon at makahanap ka ng work, madali i convert ang visa into working... sa canada medyo mahirap daw... ito eh based sa ibang mga kaibigan ko din na sumubok gawin yon... talagang dito ka daw mangagaling... in short, pauuwin ka din dito... though mas madali na mag apply for FSW dahil pag may offer of employment di mo na problem ang proof of funds mo...so having yourself registered first then looking for a way in might just prove to be futile... mas maganda mag apply ka muna as FSW then take care of your registration when you are at the final stages of your application... in the interest of saving money and effort na din... just my opinion lang naman hihihi... ;D

but for those who heard of different experiences ng mga kababayan nating nurses doon, feel free to share...

Hi canimmigrant! oo nga alam mo ayaw ko nga din magpost dun. Medyo masungit nga iba dun. May mga malakas mambara kulang nalang sabihin
ang tang@ t@nga mo. Pero dami kasi pinoy dun like sina pickles27 etc. na napagdaanan na ang pinagdadaanan natin ngayon kaya
im sure madami sila macocontribute dito sa thread.

Kaso hehe hindi ako makapagPM sa kanila kasi less than 15 palang posts ko dun. Wala naman ako maPOST hehehe.
Dapat kasi 15 or more posts before you can use the PM option kainis.

same here..since 2008 pa ko member dun..naasar lang din ako kaya ako tumigil mag open at mag post na dun..

Welcome envogue. Yup you need to send verification forms to the state in the US where you obtained your license.
Parang dito din may verification forms ka na sesend sa PRC and sila ang magpapadala nun sa CNO.

Ako may Vermont license and I think I paid 50 dollars yata for verification. Nakalimutan ko pero parang ganun nga.
