Welcome envogue. Yup you need to send verification forms to the state in the US where you obtained your license.
Parang dito din may verification forms ka na sesend sa PRC and sila ang magpapadala nun sa CNO.

Ako may Vermont license and I think I paid 50 dollars yata for verification. Nakalimutan ko pero parang ganun nga.

thanks so much paulferrer for ur immediate response.. btw.. do u have review materials there? paki pm naman if meron... would gladly appreciate it!thanks! God bless!

hi po! just want to ask, if panu nga ba mag apply sa CRNE? me mga nabsa rin ako na kelangn munang mag exam ng para sa lpn, is this true? konti lang experience ko as nurse as in less than a year. what are the procedures in applying for the eligiblity? and nd ko po kasi alam meaning ng mga BET, SEC? i took and passed the nclex cali din but i do not have d license kasi wala nmn akong ssn, kelangn din po ba ng verification nito? thanks! salamat!pasensya na po andami kong tanong ???

hello happey77... to answer your questions...

hi po! just want to ask, if panu nga ba mag apply sa CRNE? all of us in this thread are seeking licensure in TORONTO, whose regulating body is the College of Nurses of Ontario... if you wish to register there, then you are in the right thread ;)... to begin your application, you must first request for a packet from their website... you may choose to apply for RN or RPN licensure... it is harder to get immediate eligibility as RN (unless you have a MAN degree which seems to automatically gives you eligibility)... so most IENs (Internationally Educated Nurses) initially want to apply for RPN licensure because eligibility is readily given if you are an RN here in the philippines (kulang kasi tayo ng two years sa pre-admission requirement nila for baccalaureate degree... since 2 years lang RPN course nila, our RN degree na 4 years makes up for the 2 years that we lack... so you decide kung saan mo gusto mag apply na category...

me mga nabsa rin ako na kelangn munang mag exam ng para sa lpn, is this true?this is NOT true... but as i have said, RPN assessment is easier, but it is entirely up to you if you want to register as RN agad...

konti lang experience ko as nurse as in less than a year. what are the procedures in applying for the eligiblity? go to the CNO website and you will find all that you need there under the INTERNATIONALLY EDUCATED NURSES category...and nd ko po kasi alam meaning ng mga BET, SEC?BET - Baccalaureate Equivalency Table... this is equivalent to the SEC (Substantially Equivalency Table) of other provinces... if you fail to make the education requirement, you are usually asked to do this so they can further evaluate your eligibility to sit for the CRNE... based on other forumers who have undergone this, dito din nila i base kung mag bridging program ka and kung anu-ano ang bridging programs na kukuhanin mo...

i took and passed the nclex cali din but i do not have d license kasi wala nmn akong ssn, kelangn din po ba ng verification nito? since you do not have a license, there is no need to have it verified...thanks! salamat!pasensya na po andami kong tanong ???you're welcome! i hope this helps you... goodluck! ;D

hi! ;D i applied for RPN registration and got the results last week. i am now eligible to take the CPNRE but has to process other forms for the employer and PRC. good luck to us!

Hi Peanuts. My nursing experience is only 2 years and I have no Masters. PPR na ko, and I'm planning to land in Ontario in July. So I'm thinking of applying for RPN. Paano ba mag-apply?

Hi Guys. I have my visa stamped already in my passport but haven't done my landing in Canada so I don't have the PR card yet. In the package for RN application in Toronto Canada, there's a question there if "I am a Canadian Citizen, a holder of permanent resident status of Canada...". Should i answer yes here since i'm planning to land there this coming Aug 2011. So i'm guessing by the time i get a response from them, i'll have my PR card already. What do you think guys? And also, is it advisable to include all the RN licenses we have even though I didn't use them at all? Let me explain further. I have 2 RN licenses issued to me here in UAE. One from Dubai and another one from Sharjah. The one from Dubai is the one i'm using right now since i'm working as RN in Dubai. But the one from Sharjah, I didn't use at all. However both of these licenses are about to expire this coming Nov 2011. And both of these licenses will have to more use to me since i'll be moving to canada very soon. So I don't know if it's still ok to declare it even though it's about to expire and i have no plan of renewing it anymore. And besides, even if i want to renew it, UAE won't allow me since i don't have any work anymore in UAE by the time both of them expires on No 2011.

NOTE: I also have an RN license from PRC in the Philippines but i didn't get to use as well as most of my nursing experience, i got from here in Dubai. (5+ years). I only have 1 year experience in the Philippines back in 2004-2005.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi mikextr23. I'm not an expert, but I think you should email the CNO regarding your case, I am sure if you allow 3-5 working days they will reply to your query. In my case,
I have a Vermont USA license, I haven't used it yet, but I renew it every 2 years so I included it in my application. I am currently using my PRC license so I
included it as well.

I think if you tick that you're a permanent resident they will require you to submit a copy of your PR card right? I didn't have a visa at the time
of my initial application to CNO so I ticked that I am not a permanent resident.

Anyway it all comes down to emailing them and asking to be 100% sure.

hi paulferrer,i just opened the email that you sent, thanks!

anyways guys, the only remaining exam this year would be in October pala, & July yung deadline of application if you want to sit for the

CRNE, the next exam would be on February 2012 pa ba? thanks!

God bless to all of us here... even though the application is a long one & we'll start all over again..yet we're still blessed na dun na tayo...

in God's time, we'll achieve our dreams din :)
