Filipino Applicants (Embassy in Manila) - Share Time line (I'm worried)

Hi.

I have submitted my study permit application to the embassy of canada in manila on may 11, 2010. I still have no response from the embassy. I have called their call center several times already and they said it is still on process. Classes is starting on Sept 7 at McMaster University. I am worried that I may not be able to make it because I understand that medical is still required.

What should I do, please help.

dont worry , be relax and patience and wait for the decision,
it takes normally 45 to 90 days

well i received the response after 2 months

well tomorrow i am also re-applying for September semester 2010,,,,classes are also gona start on Sept 7

They called last Monday (09 July) and asked more documents from me. They also asked me to appear for an interview on July 13. God help me.

Best of Luck on your interview! Have you read some threads regarding the flow of the interview? i think I have read one but that was for an Indian, i'm not sure if it's the same for Filipinos. the most important thing is to convince them that you're going back after finishing the course. My interview did not go like the ones layouted here.
It was not easy but was generally fine.

I have an interview in August (cutting it close, I know) and would greatly appreciate it if you can tell me what to expect.

It was more of an accusing one rather than inquiring. I did not know that I violated the immigration rule in Canada when I stayed there for more than 1 month. But anyway, I just told them the truth so I guess that worked.

Another question, how long did it take you to get your medical exam done? Does it really take 10-14 days?

I'm really worried na...Still don't have a set interview date, and my classes start on Sept. 7. I really am cutting it close.

They may not interview naman. Kaya lang naman nila ako ininterview is because of the said violation. The officer said they need to know if I was set out to violate the rule or if I have reason why I did the violation.
Most of the people in this thread naman were not interviewed. So you might not be interviewed and just get the referral letter for medical.

Hello! I read your post thread. I was wondering kung nagpass ka ba ng NBI and transcripts when you submitted your application the first time?
