Filing Taxes with spouse still living overseas

Assuming many people already did their taxes this year. Did they claim their foreign spouses income in their income tax? I'm using TurboTax and wondering if people claimed it or claim 0 for their spouse

am not using Turbo tax or other softwares but did it through a tax consultant and YES you have to show your spouse's foreign income. You dont have to show a high amount coz they dont ask for documentation. But please do claim it and avoid it haunting you at a later date.

When you declared it did you claim it as a deduction o reduce your own tax as well? I read that you have to prove that your supported your spouse (which I have) but sounds like an additional hassle.
