Guys,
I application was received on 15th October. Should my dd be encashed now? september end candidates are getting thier AOR. Does it mean they have starting working on October candidates

Looks like the difference between appl rcvd date and AOR is about 2 month. So, you should expect your AOR around Dec 14th

If my AOR received date is 14-15 dec., then when should my dd be encashed. Please reply. I asked two times to my banker and he got irritated. so when should I akk him finally

I think it is too early for you .. please wait until all the september candidates receive their AOR.. I would say you still have 1 month time..

Hope so Pasi. Thanks a lot. On the settlement funds - are you planning to get a letter from the bank or are you planning to provide last 6 months bank statements? Are these 2 either or OR are both of them required?

hey garian and pasi, i am thinking of giving written explanation about pcc from oman. but if this info is of any help to you then- i have applied for indian pcc from indian embassy here, they returned my passport after checking with the copy as i said that i cannot leave it with them for a month. they returned our passports, retained the copy of required pages and gave us a slip (receipt). i have been asked to check after two weeks if clearance has been received from india, and then bring my original passport for police clearance stamping. so i am sure the consulate in washington also would have an option like this. i agree that its always better to send all documents together unless you are really stuck like ME.

Your DD will be encashed around 5 December.

What is going on? Nobody has posted AOR news after 20th November.

garian4u - When I read the Buffalo specific instructions, I thought one of them is enough. I was planning to get a letter from the bank instead of sending 6 month's statements. Bank's letter can consolidate all the accounts that we have with them and provide the fund details in a snapshot. I thought that is better. Let me know your thoughts.

Man from today morning I am trying to reach the Washington DC Indian embassy.. they dont seem to answer the phone.. i left messages few times. no response on that also..

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and need some help..

I applied under FSW on Sep 8th and the application was received on Sep 14th. Today I received an email from the FSW intake office saying that my application was not approved because my occupation is not listed in the list of eligible occupations. I have 8 years of experience in an investment bank, in operations and then as a investment professional, (equity trader). I applied under NOC 1113 and NOC 1112.

Is there anyone else who has a similiar background and got approved? If yes which NOC did you use? Also is there any way of appealing or do I have to go re-apply from scratch and wait for another 2 months. All help is appreciated...

Thanks,
Pratap..
