Hi Hitesh..

But why would CIIP call you since you have not received any Medical.
And I dont think you have registered with CIIP...this is possible 'only if'
you have received a Medical. If that were the Case, then what about all of
us from March to May...we have not received any Call.
Its possible someone may have called from CHC,ND..and then realised that
he / she had jumped the queue in picking up a file dtd.June tfr.

Whatever the case, wishing you the best..if your file has been picked up then
soon your ecas would turn to IN PROCESS.

I DON'T KNOW. I AM VERY WORRIED. SEE, I AM THE BOSS AT MY OFFICE, AND MY JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT TOOK THE PHONE AND GAVE HER MY CELL NUMBER. NOW THE LADY FROM CHC CALLED ME ON MY CELL. BUT ON SEEING THE NUMBER I THOUGHT SOMEONE FROM TELE-SALES HAD CALLED ME TO SELL THEIR PRODUCTS.
SO I DID NOT ANSWER HER PHONE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE WOULD BE ASSUIMNG.I AM REALLY WORRIED.
I WAS HOPING TODAY I WOULD GET THE CALL, BUT DID NOT. I TRIED CALLING THAT NUMBER BUT IT WAS AUTOMATICALLY DISCONNECTED AFTER ONE RING, WHICH MEANS IT COULD BE A GOVERNMENT NUMBER. NOW WHAT

Yes, it was a telemarketing number that's why I asked if you were sure. I checked in google.

Verification calls will always be made from the CHC New Delhi office number, which is 011-4178-2000.

Hi guys..

I had sent the below mentioned mail to my representative:
Could you please send a request to CHC for updation on status and how much longer it will take for file to come up for processing.This is the 11th month since the date of application.
The mail of CHC dated August 2010 categorically asks to mail them after 3 months of submission of documents in case of any Enquiry relating to Status Update.

An update from my representative received in toto as below:

Please be informed that your chc file number (2nd AOR) came in the month of Aug 2010 (when full set of documents were submitted) and after that the processing time is 6 to 8 months. At present we are receiving the medicals of the cases who got the chc file number in june 2010 ,so you need to wait. As soon as we receive any information from chc we will intimate you.

Hope this helps clear a lot confusion prevailing as regards Mera Number Kab Aayega.

Hi Pinky2000,

The "Recd By Visa Office" status means that the documents sent by you have been received by the VISA office/officer at CHC ND. They will be scrutinized / processed and the status will be updated as per the timelines are governed by the NOC, country of origin and also which CHC docs have been submitted to.
