With Waheguru's grace I have recieved my medicals today. It was a long wait.
I want your help on few things
1. Do we need to make the draft for rprf in canadian dollars like d one we sent to cio or it can be indian rupees?
2. Do we need negatives of the pictures as well for medicals?

it is more often then not a random decision to verify facts of an applicant .
but however another factor like your case presentation, your organization for whom you work for, exp., job duties relevance to your education etc. do weight heavily on decision of vo to cross check with employer or with you .
however i didn't got any verification calls

1- Older people will find it more difficult to gain points under the new Canadian immigration system. Up to age 35, applicants will score more points. Then the points score for age criteria will gradually be reduced up to age 50, after which no points will be awarded AT ALL.

2- The IELTS requirement currently has no minimum according to your total score you are assessed to the requirement of IELTS, BUT it is expected that the Canadian government will put a minimal request for the IELTS (for example all applicants might be requested to achieve a score of 6.5 in all bands to qualify) although the minimal score isn’t identified yet, but this will affect many of the applicants who wish to apply in the future.

3- Changes in the occupations in demand, the new list will be announced with the new laws and NO one can predict which occupations are required

4- Skilled workers of certain professions which are governed by authorities in Canada might be requested to get the approval of that authority before allowing them to apply for immigration (this is the case currently in Australia) this process will also require certain English requirements and education details and it might prolong the application time for immigration.

B- Changes to the Sponsorship program – Canada:

There is currently a proposed immigration law aiming to crack down on fraudulent marriages, the Conservative Canadian government has proposed a stricter requirement which would require a person coming to stay in Canada with their partner to stay in the relationship for two years or more before formally being granted permanent residency.

According to the new proposal, overseas spouses or partners would only be granted conditional permanent residence if they have been in a relationship with their Canadian partners for less than two years.

"Conditional permanent residence" of the newcomers could also be REVOKED if they failed to stay in the relationship, or it can be shown that it is not a genuine relationship.

On Saturday, March 26, 2011, a federal notice published by government just before the election writ said that this more strict requirement would "send a message that Canada is taking a strong stance against marriage fraud, and immigration fraud in general." This new rule is similar to the current law of different countries such as The United States, Britain and Australia.

The Canadian government has also proposed to introduce a "sponsorship bar". This would prevent those who gained entry to Canada themselves as sponsored partners and spouses from sponsoring a new partner for five years.
