My file went to New York on 04 Aug 2010 and It went In Process on 10 Sept 2010
I added my Son's application on August 20 2010

I sent an e-mail to New York on 02 Dec 2010 for my status, I got e-mail from them on 03 Dec 2010 same like you """Your son was added into the application. Currently, the file is in queue for further processing"""""""

Please share your time line and up date me if you get any news from them

understandable... in fact, i applied there 1.5 years ago because i thought it would be really "fast-track" process. That time in 2009, the average processing time(as they claimed) was 8 months.. If i knew the real time scale from beginning, i would have looked for other options. I know that it is their privilege to give or not to give us PR, but i wish they just told us the truth from beginning..

Hi Bond 007,

I blocked my ticket to india on Feb 15, I am also fed up with is processing times,,,, Please share your time line ? when did you add your son ? when did you apply your primary application to Sydney

It looks like this is a big business for these lawyers and consulates .. my lawyer tricked me into it by saying that the whole process will take some 6 months and I went thru all the pain to accumulating documents from a number of countries I have visited & worked so far leave aside the tremendeous waste of money & efforts... I cant keep on staying here in US and sacrifice on lots of important things back home ....this is a bummer

Hi, W8pr

I think you were lucky to get PPR very fast

My wife did her medical in November 20,2010, I did mine on December 06,2010 and it reached to Ottawa on January 2011.............Almost 1 month to reached Otaawa and I just called call center and guy said our medical is not in system yet

I don't know what is going on....

Whan i will get PPR?

I also e-mail NY but no reply

Thanks

Hello All,
As another week starts, did any one get medical request? In CIC website they say an average of 17 months of processing for fast track applicant, I have reached the 17th month and no medicals yet..

hi all,
no news so far from my side..
they say at http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/new_york/imm/general_info-rens_generaux.aspx?lang=eng
that it takes about 15 months to process from the date of receipt at visa office.
Do you think it is from the receipt date at Buffalo or NYC?
thank you

Hi, All

I just got reply from NY

They acknowledge my RRPF and file is under final review

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. Can I ask why your files are transferred to NY instead of Buffalo if the NY office has processing problems/delays? Why are some people transferred and others not?

Thanks,
