Hi dream23,
It is not strange. It means your file was brought forward on that date to the visa officer for further processing. Which is normal. when i received my CAIPS this is exactly how it was, only paper test was passed and security clearence was passed. No points calculated, no medical request etc.... Hope this helps..

hi Friends,
i have just received caips notes and now i'm puzzled even more.
My BFD is set to October of 2010??? shouldn't it be future date??
also no points are calculated,no add. doc's requested...
any suggestions?

psdec is 1, everything else is 0.

I havent got,but I will be getting tomorrow.
They said they will post me on 07th Feb from ottwa.
So i think it will take 4 days tto reach ,so may be tomorow or Monday.

Once i get I will update everyone

We are pretty similar in timeline. But i have the med req last aug. I don't know why my application was moving that fast

thanks , i didn't have anything in caips regarding my e-mail enquiry..
i recieved response from them on jan 21,got caips on 10th feb.
so it looks that caips were printed at least 3 weeks before receiveng them..is it correct assumption?

hi Shish,
to me it is actually opposite.. that shows that you are serious about immigration and take your case seriously.
For example, i ordered caips to be sure that no any correspondence(letters,emails) or documents are missing...
I actually sent them email first, but then i couldn't get a response from them for a month..
So i don't see any reason why it should make bad impression. Unless,of course, you order them on a daily basis or IO is completely irrational.
