File Movement to Local Visa office Etobicoke

Hello All,


I have applied for PR of AOR 17 June 2017 in Canadian Experience Class, I have cleared MED on 22 August, My BG is in process, in ADR header it shows " We do not required any additional documents" .

When i called the CIC Agent they told me that your application is in Etobicoke CIC center. i asked if there is any concern on my file, they said no. as per them i have cleared the security and MED. My eligibility and crimanlity is in progress.

Need expertise guidelines, is this is a usual process to move file to etobicoke from Ottawa CIC. One of the agent told me that due to workload they have transfer the file.

This is completely normal. They distribute applications based on the workload.

Today i called the Agent and they said my file is in etobicoke CIC Office and i am in Ip2 from 10 Oct ... Can kindly share your timeline form IP2 to PPR Thanks

Nope.. If you call CIC they will say that it may take some time

i have done my Landing Yesterday in IRCC Etobicoke - After my interview on 13th Feb - they sent a Interview invite Feb 23 to Land . i did got the PPR Mail .. it direct landing .

Thank you for replying. It seems your application took more than the 6-month processing time. Did you get any updates about your application before receiving the PPR mail? When did you receive the PPR mail?

No - i am sep 20th AOR - it was with in 6 months , i did not got any ppr mail , i missed the Not for PPR in last msg , only the interview then landing within 8 days in same office .. now waiting for PR Card

Oh ok! Congratulations!!

This seems like a new process...may be for CEC inland applicants. Was the interview message through the online CIC account?
