Same here my Aor is may 18 visa office etobicoke ...called 2 weeks ago for an update they said be patient

Hey my application was moved to Montreal . On September 5 th I received letter to attend interview on September 26th Edmonton office

I just saw 1st ever ghost update.. Profile says updated but nothing inside..

i did i got a ghost update on the 2 of october, called cic today agent said that background check and just started.

I never received a ghost update before but I had called couple of times before and was advised by agent that background check is in progress.

The file was not transferred there it has always been there not sure why though

Oh ok thats why you got ghost update for paper based applicants they are waiting from so long.
