Few general questions

Hi,

I'm new on the forum and in need of few advices.

Next week I am planning to apply under Canadian Experience Class.

1.) Can I submit certified translation copies(certified by notary public in Canada) of Birth Certificate and Criminal Records Certificate or they need to be originals?

2.) Are all CEC applications sent to Ottawa or do I have to state somewhere where I want it to go?

3.) Soon I am expecting to be nominated by the province of Saskatchewan under SINP. Can I apply 2 times for Permanent Residence, each application under different program?

Certified translated copy for birth certificate is ok.
If your PCC is not in English, you have to submit the certified translated copy PLUS as of document checklist the original PCC.
Remember, documents in foreign languages other than French or English have to be translated.

2.) Are all CEC applications sent to Ottawa or do I have to state somewhere where I want it to go?
Applications are sent to CIO in Sydney. But processed in Ottawa, that's what you put in requested office for processing on
Form IMM0008.

3.) Soon I am expecting to be nominated by the province of Saskatchewan under SINP. Can I apply 2 times for Permanent Residence, each application under different program?

When I apply for CEC, do I have to reside in Canada while waiting for the decision or no?

No. CIC will make a decision based on the information you provide in your application.
You can leave Canada, quit your job, do whatever you want.
Just make sure you always keep CIC updated with your current mailing address and stuff.

Does anybody know, when I obtain my Police certificate, does it need to be translated to english language?

And do I need to send then original translation with original Police certificate?

Pretty sure iam_toby answered your question above. Yes, any documents that are not in English or French must be translated

But if you are expecting your SINP then there is no need to apply CEC..

I'm sorry, but what would be the point of applying in the first place if you're going to withdraw your SINP application once you receive an AOR under CEC?

I believe you'll be asked to withdraw one of the applications when the other is in its final stages.

Cause i was screwed 3 times..by applying to SINP i ll cover myself from rejection or whatever (you never know) of CEC..i ll get AOR ll withdraw my SINP application..make sense?

It doesn't, because receiving an AOR doesn't guarantee your application will go through. My point is, it's okay to apply under 2 different programs, but don't withdraw your SINP application just because you got an AOR under CEC.

After getting AOR i ll get to extend my WP..
AOR-it means application is received and guaranteed to "passed"..if not please explain..
So, it ll mean after medical i should withdraw my SINP? Correct?

No - all the AOR means is that you completed the forms correctly and you have submitted enough documentation for them to start processing.

If you're applying under 2 streams, it wouldn't make sense to withdraw until you at least get your medical request, or if you're okay completing the medicals, then until your passport is request. Your passport request will be the last point when you would be required to withdraw the other application. You can (but not likely) get rejected after completing medicals but before the passport request, though that rejection would likely be based on inadmissibility which would likely be a rejection under both applications.

I'd suggest letting them process in parallel until you get your first medical request.
