Fees Payment

My husband who is sponsoring me is in Canada and I'm here in Manila. Do we have the option to make the payment online? I went through the guide and as far as I understand, online payment is the preferred method of payment, so I'm assuming that we can pay the fees online. Now, when I tried to process the payment, I'm getting this error: Transaction not approved - Transaction refusée. Anyone who can clarify this for me? Thanks.

I believe you can pay online as well! when did you try to make the payment? maybe someones their system is being upgraded or something went wrong with your Credit Card?

Yes, you have the option to pay online - because your application is going to an inland office (Mississauga). However, your transaction must still be approved by the credit card authorization system. If you are getting a decline you should contact your credit card company and ask them why the transaction is being declined. They may have done so as an anti-fraud measure in which case you should be able to provide them with sufficient information that they will allow the transaction. Alternatively, your husband in Canada may have better luck (since then it won't be a large international online transaction.)

thanks for the response. the credit card is good. but sure ill have my husband call the credit card issuer, maybe they're blocking the payment since i'm doing it here in manila. thanks again.

just an update guys, the payment was already approved. apparently, my husband didn't realize that he didn't update his billing address. all along i was putting an incorrect address, hence it's being rejected. he found out when i asked him to call his credit card issuer. thanks for your help guys! was finally able to FedEx my documents to my husband today.

Those credit card people are very good about watching for potentially suspect transactions these days. Glad you were able to resolve it.
