We are about to pay our fees for the inland common-law perm res. application along with the open work permit fees under the pilot project. It's a bit confusing, can someone confirm the fee amounts? Family sponsorship: 75 plus 475 principal applicant plus 550 for family member over 19 or is that 550 not required as its meant for a family member coming from out of country and not the sponsor?

And work permit 150 plus 100? I don't think we pay the Right of Perm Residence fee of 490 when applying from inside the country? Thanks, I know it seems obvious but want to confirm before I make a mistake and pay the wrong amounts...

The $550 fee is applicable if the Principal Applicant and their spouse are being sponsored, i.e. parent sponsorship. The RPRF is most definitely required for inland applicants.

PR fees:

Sponsorship application $75
Principal applicant fee $475
Right of Permanent Residence Fee $490

Total $1040

OWP fees:

Work Permit $155
Open work permit holder $100

Total $255

is it okay to pay the RPRF on the later stage right? I am planning to pay first the OWP, the principal and the sponsor fee.

Yes, although some people say that it may cause a slight delay at the end of the process.

The minimum that you need to pay upfront, for the sponsorship application is $550 ($75 + $475) + your fee of $255 for the OWP = $805
