Hey,

I have a question and would appreciate your answers tremendously.

After sending my application, I realized that I needed to send the PCC for all countries I lived in since I was 18 (I originally thought we needed to submit PCCs for only the past 5 years). Anyway, I applied for the missing PCC from USA and should be receiving it soon.

Should I go ahead and forward the PCC to CIC, or should I wait till they send a request? If yes, should I send it to Ottawa or Sydney?
I'm a bit worried because it takes about 4 months to receive the PCC for USA, and would like to avoid any unnecessary delays.

Thanks

Almost one year until they started processing your file? My AOR states "Your application has now been placed into processing". Or is that something different?

an AOR means that your file is now in the system and is waiting on an officer to look at it and issue the next steps. The wording is a little confusing because your file is not officially in processing until your ECAS says so.

Apply for your PCC and while it is being processed, email CIC asking where to send it. They should reply back with where your file is.

Thanks a lot Suryak! That's what I assumed...

Anyone applied in January 2014? I've checked the tracker created by Suryak86 and found out I'm the only one who applied in January. It seems something happened to January applicants. My friends and I applied pretty much the same date in January, 5 of us have been asked to update or redo our personal information /PCC /new medical results.....the worst thing was cic didn't ask for these documents at a time, they asked for 3 times , each time asked for different docs, which was really a waste of time. I'm wondering what really happened there? Anyone has any idea?
Is it becoz u did med in another country?

Yes, I did my first med in China, that's why they didn't extend it.
