Congrates!!!!! My passport reached there on 27 nov ,a week later yours so I wish mine comes next week :P

Greetings.

I finally received my Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) form two days ago. I never received a Passport Request (PPR), nor have I heard from CIC at all since I submitted my medical results back in February. Thanks to all on this forum; it has been really helpful to see timelines and to glean pieces of knowledge from others.

I'm a Québec Selected Worker (QSW), having acquired my CSQ through the PEQ (Quebec Experience Programme). I'm applying from within Canada and I'm a British Citizen.
My application was initially sent to Sydney, NS and then went on to be processed at Ottawa.

My timeline is as follows:

Application submitted sometime early December 2012.
Application received by CIC: 24th December 2012.
Acknowledgement of Receipt: January 2013.
Medical Request: February 2013.
Medicals Done: February 2013
'Medical Results Received' on eCas: March/April 2013.
Request of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF): 18th June
RPRF Paid: 18th June.
Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) form received: 5th December 2013.

11 Months from start to finish. 16 Months including the CSQ process, involving language tests and so on.

I'm hoping to take a cheeky road trip down to the states in the next couple of weeks to officially land.

del2mon,

I think our applications were stapled together the whole time :P
I also received PPR email December 2 (just discovered it yesterday)

What did you use to send your passport to Canada? (if I remember correctly you're also in US)
Do we also need to send a return envelope? Or is that only for inland applicants?

Thanks and all the best!
My warmest congratulations to all who received PPR, keep hanging in there to everybody else! Even if it takes a little longer, you're all going to be better for it in the end.

Hey brebu,

Congrass for your PPR.

Well i gave my passport to my relative in Canada and he sent it to Ottawa on Dec 4 and he will send me back once he receive it back from Ottawa.

I believe you can order express post envelope from amazon canada and then send it to ottawa.

Congrats HLR!

We have the same timeline. I think our cases were reviewed at the same time. However, I received a letter on the Dec 3 asking for 1 more police certificate from another country I had lived in since I was 18 (which I didn't send). Otherwise I would also be celebrating. Nevertheless I celebrate with you. Cheers!

They do move files in batches.
