Congrats HLR!

We have the same timeline. I think our cases were reviewed at the same time. However, I received a letter on the Dec 3 asking for 1 more police certificate from another country I had lived in since I was 18 (which I didn't send). Otherwise I would also be celebrating. Nevertheless I celebrate with you. Cheers!

They do move files in batches.

Thanks Joshua1, yes they do move files in batches. A friend of mine was also asked for police clearance certificate. Anyways your case is also about to be completed. Stay calm and keep your spirits high.

:)

del2mon,

I think our applications were stapled together the whole time :P
I also received PPR email December 2 (just discovered it yesterday)

What did you use to send your passport to Canada? (if I remember correctly you're also in US)
Do we also need to send a return envelope? Or is that only for inland applicants?

Thanks and all the best!
My warmest congratulations to all who received PPR, keep hanging in there to everybody else! Even if it takes a little longer, you're all going to be better for it in the end.
congratulations brebu . very happy for you

YES SURE HERE IS THE LINK YOU CAN CHECK http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/contact/listing/indexpages/indextype38-e.html

Question guys: CPP had asked for a police certificate from a country I lived in since I was 18. On the CIC website they provided the instructions on how to obtain one (from a particular police authority), however I received a certificate called "bonne vie et moeurs" issued by another judidicial authority... do you think they will accept it? As you know, call centre agent cannot answer such specific question.

Thanks harvie :)

I also got DM today.

I called CIC on December 5th to schedule an appointment for landing within canada. They responded the next day to me with an appointment for Jan 6. One month, I expected worse, but I can do one month.

Any updates? I guess this might be the last week of hope for 2013. From next week the agents would be probably busy getting ready for the holidays..Crossing our fingers and please share your updates...
