see on the left now!
i emailed in may 2013 about status update and they told me on 21-05-2013: "Your file has been transferred to this office in Ottawa for processing. It will be reviewed by one of our officers, with priority given to applications that were received at CIC before November 30, 2011."

again in october 2013 I asked and they replied "Your file is in Ottawa for processing and will be reviewed by one of our officers."

my ecas is "medical received".

Just a head up, "process" in your case is not "in process" in ecas. I had something similar when I asked an update on my medical result. According to their internal email (they forward to me for some reason), my file was processing with CIO. However, I only get "in process" when my eligibility and others passed

thanks. i think more recent applications get "in process" faster (within a few months) than 2012 applications, right?
is your file at ottawa now?

According to my GSMC notes, my file is currently at Ottawa since Sept 11, 2013. On Sept 17, it is at Registry of CPP-O. Im not sure after. My next GSMC note is on Nov 18.

No, I know someone who apply in May-June last year and get it in November last year. And there is somebody here confirm that his/her friends also got PPR within 6->8 months too. I guess it depends on the cases. Im not sure at all.

Do you guys have a line wrote" please process this case faster" something like this at the bottom of your CSQ? I think that's why there's some of us get it really fast.

Yes cause they can not put all applications in queue, my friend told me it's like 2 new file, 1 old file they process it.

I'm same as you, and they told me they are processing my file now, but Ecas always received. Cause criminality, security, and eligibility check are not not finished yet. At first time an officer start reviewing your file, not means its gonna be done soon, if this officer think they need to check your criminality, security or eligibility , they gonna send a request to another gov department, and this request due day is one year.
