hey summer rose, are you inland or outland applicant ?

heloo imm_leb_01,

yes im an inland applicant..

so you should hear something december or early january

Does anyone know what happens to a PR application if someone moves away from Canada? I just threw a temper tantrum and quit my job so I'm heading back to the UK to work in mid-December. Will my application stay in Ottawa and be processed as if I was still inland or will they forward it to London?

It will continue to be in process and considered.Wwhen the decision is made, and if it was in your favor, you will have to come back to do your landing. Is this something you can do? I know you may reach a frustrating point but think twice before you give up on it.

Yes, I can come back for the landing. Can't wait for that glorious moment when everything has become worth it! ;) I have no choice but to go home anyway. My work permit expires right at the start of January, I want to be home for Christmas with my family, and now I've quit my job I doubt I could get a new work permit. The mining industry is dead so even if I could stay, I'd probably just be sat around like I have been since February. My savings are totally gone so going back to the UK is my only option really. It sucks but guess some plans just don't work out...

Mining industry is far from being dead. I still see ppl hire left and right. May not be in Quebec though :D

Haha yeah, you're right! If I could go to Alberta, it'd be sweet. Hopefully things will pick up next year once I'm back as a PR...

hello.

I received this e-mail before (July.31.2013). Is this PPR ? can you check that?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your application is currently in queue to be finalized. Please note that we are unable to estimate the remaining processing time required for your application.

If you have included a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned using this envelope. If you did not provide a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned to you by regular mail.
Regards,

No it's not. The PPR email has a title "Ready For Visa Letter / Prêt Pour Le Visa"

Since you are PR exempt, I dont think you would receive the email rather than CORP by mail.

HI eurmione,,
Congrates For Recieving A decision Made update.

So Finally My Ecas has also been changed from in process to Decision made ...........happy as well as nervous as no passport request yet, but if your ecas shows Decision made that means for sure you application has been approved and you have been granted PR or there could be some more shocking results awaiting for you? I may sound cynical but I hope you guys can understand how it feels when it comes to these things.....

Hi Guys,

I wanted to share my timelines to this forum, as I find this topic apt to my situation.

My Ecas status is "Application Received" since beginning.. and when I click on the status I can see a line which says that they have received our medical results. Now I know that the next step is they will ask for RPRF fees, but I dont know when. I did some research and found that I can pay the RPRF fees in advance. I wanted to know if there are any benefits of doing that, or should I wait for there email.

your application was sent in 2012 or 2013 ? your timeline shows 2012

Thanks imm_leb_01.

I just corrected that. I am 2013 applicant. In December'2012, I applied for the CSQ which I received it in May'2013. In Aug'2013, I applied for the federal part.
