looks like today they were finalizing the applicants from exact one year ago.
Can you share your timeline please , AOR , medicals , RPRF ?

I think they have two piles. One for the inland applicants (which seems to get better every months since the end of the strike).
And the other one (outland applicants ) which seems to be quite slow.

But isn't outland applicants sent to CPP-Ottawa? I always thought CPP-Ottawa is for people who lives in Canada only...

What I heard is the following. Basically applicants send their file to Sydney. Then all files that are deemed to be complete and relatively easy to deal with would go to CPP-O, by definition the inland applicants (work permit holders, students etc..) face less challenging issues (security etc since they have been living here), They already have been (at least partially) scrutinized.

All the US applicants also would go there!

I heard a lot of situation where ecas address is different from the one that they have on their file. So the address that they have might be the old one of yours

Hi tomas0312, I also received the same response and now waiting for my medical extension request to go through. I have not had the "Decision Made" yet though. I am outland applicant. The document that explains how to go about medical extension stipulates that such request can only be made if that's the only thing left to finalize an applicant's request for permanent resident visas. I also think that security might also be expired and require a quick one for the places you've been to since you last submitted your travel/employment history.
In all, we just need patience and hope that our files are completed soon. Again, congrats to all who have received their ppr. All the best with your next steps.
Cheers!
