Hey harvie,

I remember you ordered gcms notes after you got DM, i would like to know if you received them and what how did they process your application

Hello Everyone,

I received an e-mail from CPP-O on 02/18/14 requesting payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee.
I paid the fee online the next day and sent PDF copy of receipt to the Cost Recovery e-mail address provided in the orginial e-mail for faster processing.

Any idea when this will be updated on E-case? My status still shows as application received.

When should I expect PPR?

Details
App received 06/2013
Medical Done 08/2013
RPRF Paid 02/19/14
PPR??????

Thank you

My Ecas still doesn't show RPRF paid and I paid in June. I'm not sure if it comes up on Ecas or if I'm just a weird case. If you're concerned they haven't received it, send a case specific enquiry to check.

Depends on your individual circumstances but usually 1 year after your AOR date.

Thanks CatPea33. What's your current status in Ecas? " In Process"?

Mine still says 'Application Received.' I know I'm actually 'In Process' from my GCMS notes. My Ecas doesn't seem to get updated at all unless I email them to ask what's going on.

Is the Eligibility Not Started or passed on your GCMS? We got the aor at the same time, but my GCMS still shows not started.

Friends,

After a long wait, I received my passport request by email. I had a few questions regarding mailing my passport to Canada. I emailed CPP, but no reply so far. The clock is ticking and I dont want to lose any more time. :-X :'(

If anyone here has experience with mailing passports to Canada, could you help? It is much appreciated (I am currently living in the USA).

1) When we mail our passport to Canada from the US, do we include any pre-paid mail (Fedex, UPS, etc.)
2) I have read that we can include Xpresspost (Canadapost). Is this true? I am trying to contact Canadapost from US, but I am unable to get through via phone.
3) Does your passport come back through the pre-paid mail you sent them or does CPP send it through their preferred mailing system?
3) Does CPP-Ottawa inform via email when they received the passport? or do we infer this via Fedex tracking?
4) Does CPP-Ottawa simply send the passport via regular post or do they inform before sending with some tracking number?

Thanks in advance.
Can.maple

Thanks Prutus, eurmoine and harvie. I guess I will have to wait for regular mail from CPP ;)

My timeline is as follows:

Sent application to NS: Nov 2012
Medicals: Feb 2013
Re-sent PCC: Oct 2013
Email from CPP: Feb 2014

All in all, its been nearly 3 long years from QSW to now. And for the most part, no updates, etc. from CPP, ecas, which was very very frustrating. >:(
But God is good and we have to patient :D.
Now I will send my passport and wait patiently again :o

I don't know right now. I got my GCMS notes back in October(?) but now that I've left Canada, I can't apply for a new GCMS update.

hi buddy.. I received copr on 27 Oct 2013 and i applied for GCMS on 29 Oct 2013.I received GCMS exact one month after i.e. 29 nov 2013.the report was generated on 25 nov 2013.application status is CLOSED and application status reason is APPROVED. eligibility, criminality, medical are PASSED.
I wanna tell you the link of activities done on my application with E-mails I sent to them(CPP-O).I sent them two e-mails one on 2 sep 2013 and second on 22 sep 2013. In the first email (2 sep)I asked them for status of my application ,medical expiring soon and sent updated personal history. I got no reply for this e-mail but in my GCMS an officer sent my medical for extension to RMO (HMB)on 3 sep 2013.same time they sent for rcmp screening.
In second email sent on 22 sep 2013 I again asked for status and medical expiring soon . the next day got replied (email)that my medical has been extended . same day(23 sep 2013) my application was in process. in GCMS my eligibility was passed on same day .criminality was also initiated on same day and they put new due date which was exact month after it is initiated 23 oct 2013.criminality was passed on 23 oct 2013 and got decision made on 23 oct 2013 , copr was sent on same day.
In GCMS there is every thing mentioned when I applied for GCMS and all the correspondence with them.
thats all and all the best
