CRS is very confusing for me
Can you pls explain it in a simple calculation?
Well CRS (Comprehensive Ranking Score) ranks eligible candidates against each other once in the pool.
The higher your CRS score, the higher your rank, and the higher your likelihood of getting an invitation to apply (ITA).
Points are awarded according to your specific circumstances. Education, work experience, any relatives in Canada, language ability, Age, marital status...
In the last round, they invited the 3500 highest ranked candidates, and the score of the lowest ranked candidate is know as the "cut-off score".
So, to know how many points you can claim now that you know you're eligible, use the CRS tool mentioned above, and enter your individual details.
