If Justice Barnes cannot be persuaded to force CIC to abide by the agreement, but will allow individual hearings on the merits of each case, CAIPS will show that CIC is the cause of delay for FSW-SAP applicants (where CIC would be allowed to delay processing if it is the fault of the applicant or of a third party). That's the value I see in Tim having a copy of my CAIPS.

Tim has asked everyone in his lawsuit to get CAIPS because he wanted to sperate two groups: those whose files wee closed, and those whose files are still open.
For the former group I am afraid the road is going to be longer. But do not despair, TIm is a very good laywer and I believe he will find a way out.
By the way : what is the last update you got from TIm,,,I have not heared from him since a couple of days and I do not want to bug him by sending him too many e mails. does The linked in group have any updates? I Joined that group few weeks ago ,but my membership request is still pending ,,,,so I can not see any discussions.

The 31 qualified litigants is the last update I got. Probably no other updates because the next sked for the Waldman group is in November. No updates in the LinkedIn discussions as well, the latest being instructions from Tim on how to request for CAIPS, posted 4 days ago.

Just came to know from my friends circle in canada , 2004 applications which were updated in 2008 will start getting medicals in Dec 2012 except those who are litigants as their cases will take longer time frame. Is their any one who can varify this news.

nice,i am also apart of the same group..brother it is better to know the status of ur application,so the CAIPS is defined as best solution for getting inside working of ur case.

Yes, I am a pre-Feb 2008 applicant who is affected by CIC's unfair practices. I am also a litigant against CIC.

CIC says the number of principal applicants is about 100,000.
The number of litigants Tim Leahy has is over 1300.
The number of litigants Bellissimo and Campbell Cohen have together is over 1100.
Other lawyers ...? how many litigants ...?

Forum members please update, if you know.

At the time of Certification Hearing in November 2012, we may know the figures roughly.

Today, for the first time, I found this information on the number of people Campbell Cohen is representing. The number is 897, which includes the pre-February 2008 applicants and their dependents. This information is from one of his websites.

Yes Bundoora , sadly there are a couple of applicants from Manila office who made their medicals before march 29th and still their applications were suspended by OB 442. You can search this thread (2 or 3 pages earlier) for their cases

I m also a litigant by david cohen but as per court my lawyer is bellissimo.
