No, to my reading, he is starting to grasp at straws. If 87.4 is found to be legal, then Tim will try to have a class action certified, and walk into the sunset with $700K. The last class action against CIC was certified in 2008 "Hinton vs CIC" still hasn't gone anywhere.

thanks for encouragement. the files with DM status are pre feb pakistan files. none of new delhi pre feb files has DM. so my file status is not clear. I want yes or no in my file so that I can move on with my plans. My license to middle east is valid for 3 years . if i go now and chc give me passport request problem can arise with passport submission to CHC newdelhi because they take 4 or more months after passport submission for visa stamping eventhough the law permits only 45 days.Does anybody know when will our files get positive or negative final decision?

application---yes or no---if yes applicant lands in canada----after landing if he feels the country is good for his future he may stay there and apply for citizenship----if he feels canada is not a better country then he finds other opportunities in other countries and leave canada.

There will be hearing on 14 to 16 January 2013 so if you can wait till end of January 2013 you will see the results and may act accordingly.

In my knowledge , all Visa offices changed the fre 2008 application status from in process into DM that files are close on 24th December . I did not get any one from NDVO whos status change in DM .

Have you collected your CAIPS ? in Caips if you find VO has given point and your PSDEC 1 then you are safe and your application will be process for next level

Noon please go a head with your job offers,,,,the 14th through 16th are just hearings,,,decision is not expected for months to come,,,and even if we prevail you still have the statement of Kenney (it will take us till 2017 to finish the backlog). In all cases it will take years to come to have any certainty about this matter,,,,
so do not waste any additional day in this useless wait and go a head with your life. My sincere advise is to reapply in 2013

Any one has any idea why non of the NDVO got their status as DM, whereas most of the remaining VO applicants has got their changed status.

Friends, Wishing You All A Very Happy New Year. Some thing is happening at CHC NDLS. Mine Status is IN PROCESS where as my friens Status is Decision made today. Both updated in Dec 2004. I am from Tims group but he is not a litigant.

Hi, my file also changed in process to DM. I applied January 2008, CHC Singapore. After applying I only received acknowledgment letter.

Decision Made

I applied to CHC Delhi

My file status also changed to DM today. its written "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

I applied in Sep 2004 & updated document in Feb 2009 (I didn't get the latter of document updation in Oct 2008 as they told me against my inquiry in Jan 2009).
