Hi Guys,

There is nothing new on my side. I hope we can hear some good news from all consulates next week :)

By the way, for those whos files have been stayed in Buffalo (No transfer), following is a sample of PPR email along with the links. You can prepare the documents beforehand if you want.

Have a nice weekend,
Hadal

This is good stuff. Thank you for posting this letter, very vital for those of us awaiting passport request. I believe this letter is equally important even if your file was transferred to a different visa office. thank you Hadal

Thanks a bunch hadal! this is very useful information indeed!
Here's the complete list for Buffalo, i'll try to check for L.A. too:

I learned when we are required passport, we
(1) provide a valid passport
(2) provide height, eyes color, name
(3) show proof that we are legal in US (like i-94) for in-person service (Tues & Thurs 8-10a)
(4) prepare a letter for authorizing the friend who'll hand-in PPT, if applicable
(5) return Xpress post envelop, for mail service (takes roughly 3 weeks once they get it)
(6) need a copy of ePPR/PPR letter
(7) submit alongside 2 photos. With those latest, they will attach one pic to CO-PR and return the remaining
-The frame size must be at least 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8″ x 1 3/4″);
-The size of the head from chin to crown must be between 25 mm (1”) and 30 mm (1 1/5”)

AEO,

Should the date on which the photo was taken be printed behind the photograph to be send with the passport request related documents?

yes, and it has to be less than 1 yr

For L.A. they say not to provide Return envelop, if you're in Canada. (We are only able to return passports and documents to Canadian addresses by regular mail)
L.A. and Buffalo accept only USPS envelops for return of passport of those in the US, or else they mail it back via regular mail

9" x 12" USPS Express Mail or USPS Priority Mail if your mailing address is in the USA

cheers
