who's file got transferd to detroit please ?
from US or Canada ?

Hey folks, I received an answer to my enquiry about status and eCAS reliability. Here's what Buffalo INFORMED ME:

Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.

e-Cas is for applications processing within Canada only.

Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) does not reflect the status of cases being processed in Buffalo.

Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in Buffalo.

This is way contradictory to CIC website and make me confused, really confused: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en
I could stand still and find patience even though I'm running low now. I could even be still and not react before my boss. I could smile to students and colleagues and pretend everything is fine when really I'm not happy to be a "bouche-trou". But this is too much so I give up guys cz I can't stand lies and intentional misrepresentation be it from gov'ts or persons.

Mine did. They e-mailed me SEP 2010 a first assesment (FA) saying I wasn't gonna need an interview and that I needed to send Mexican federa background check (I had already sent RCMP and state level one) and $$RPRF$$. That's when I knew I had been transfered to Detroit from Buffalo. I sent everything back in NOV 2010 and haven't anything since.

@ae03yy

Few people understand what we go through. If I had 2 hours to spare I write a about 5 pages telling what a nightmare this has been for the past almost 3 years now. Anyway, don't give up buddy, it will taste REALLY sweet when you get that PPR e-mail. I keep telling me that myself, just try not to think to much about it and breath, enjoy the "canicule" .. on n'en pas toute l'année de la belle temperature de même !

Cheers !

All of us have been going through a lot. Sometimes I was upset and thought about what we did wrong, why we should go through like this. But let's think in a positive way, we are in the end of this horrible process. Calm down and let's stick on together "hand-by-hand (imaginarily)".

Hope we will taste out bitter sweetness soon.

It is okay , sister, get angry .... It is alright. You have the reason to.
Get angry , then cool down and clear your head & spirit (sport, visit friends , read, & PRAY) , and get up and keep hope alive. Because , no matter what, we are almost there . It is a looong helplessness ,but I think it is temporary , unless we make it permanent (by abandonning). I think you are smart enough to not come to that, because you know "almost does not count" (by Brandy).
You supported many many people on this forum ... do not let yourself down , sister !

Everything will be alright in the end.

Have a nice evening ya all.

I feel exactly same way as you do. Feeling serving time in jail.. Since my French knowledge is quite limited, it has been really tough to find a job in my field. I've had really good opportunities in Ontario, but had to give them all up because of my status. Now I'm stuck in Montreal, doing practically nothing, checking email and mail box every hour, ect.. I contacted my lawyer several times to push her, but there's nothing she can do at this point other than just waiting. It's like a public defender who can do nothing for her condemned criminal client. Yes, I would call this jail.

According to other thread (people with provincial nominee), Buffalo process takes average of 13 months in total.

Quote:
"This 13 month starts from the day CIC received your application (along with the fees) and includes 7 months for getting MED REQ, 4~5 months of getting PPR (after you sent MED) and getting the VISA (near 1 month if you mail your PP to get the VISA).
Getting the PR card is, most probably, separate from it as the card is mailed to you later. "

So I guess, that will apply to us (quebec nominee) as well..... So hang on in there you guys, seems not just Quebec applicants that wait forever, every one else does too....

:D keep smilin' ;D

Hello , fellas !

happy birthdate in Buffalo :P

Dear Friends,

I finally got my Police clearance from my country's consulate (after 2 months delay) so, I am going to apply to the federal on Monday (25th July 2011).

I have a question: There is a new form for PR application now from July 18th onwards, and there is a field called CSQ number.Where can I find it on my CSQ? Is it

point 2: Numero du dossier, starting with C00
Point 3: Numero du reference individuel, starting with C22 etc

And what does " SO" in field 13 "Entrevue "on the CSQ mean? (No interview)?
Do let me know.

Thanks a lot!

SO mean "Sans objet" which is the equivalent of N/A "not applicable"

I would go with Numéro de dossier C00, but not 100% sure. Since you also have to file a copy of your CSQ, I don't think it's that big of a deal if you put in the wrong reference number.

Anyway good luck / bonne chance !

Re: (No subject)

Ur numero reference individual is ur CsQ NUMBER.cos D character space for this field only accept it & not d dossier nos. And do not 4get to print and add ur bar code
