Submitted my Federal App 13 months ago and no updates except Application Received/Medical Received.

Did you apply from inside the US? When were you done with you meds?

I have the feeling that Ottawa neglects QSW applicants... :'(
a lot of other PNP applicants already got their ppr or passport request

I received an email yesterday from ottawa requesting right of landing fee, police clearance even though I had submitted it 3 months ago, my job title and address. They have also assigned a priority date as that of applications received before Sep 2011.
Has anyone else received similar email from ottawa?

I received an email yesterday from ottawa requesting right of landing fee, police clearance even though I had submitted it 3 months ago, my job title and address. They have also assigned a priority date as that of applications received before Sep 2011.
Has anyone else received similar email from ottawa?

CONGRATULATION in advance...once you submit the request things to them, you have 2-3 weeks max. and you will be getting the long waiting
request letter for stamping.

I am just wondering why QSW applicant processes in the Federal Stage takes a longer time...I thought
it was suppose to be short time since most things have been done at the CSQ stage?

I am kust wondering...

Any contributions of ideas?

We received your application for permanent residence on April 18, 2011.

We started processing your application on March 7, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

Note: 2 weeks ago (on Feb 27, 2013), I received a letter from CPP-Ottawa in my mailing address (i.e., NOT to confuse with email inbox) requesting to re-do my medical exams.

The wait continues...

Oh no.... I can imagine your disappointment. I don't understand why they do an extension of the validity of my medical exams for 2 years and not for you (I read this information on my confirmation of permanent residency).


I hope your waiting will be short.

I did my medical again this year on February 27, 2013. CPP Ottawa received my medical results on March 7, 2013.

Today, I also received an email from CPP Ottawa requesting that I send them a copy of my updated personal history + a copy of my passport (since it is about to expire soon). Looks like another technique for them to further delay application processing...

Does anybody know what form I can use in order to fill out my updated personal history?

Ok they also requested me in the middle of february my updated personal history.

``Mise à jour de vos antécédents personnels depuis 2011/05/01. Commencez par l’information la plus récente, indiquez votre profession ou votre emploi si vous avez travaillez (incluant le nom de l’institution/entreprise) et veuillez indiquez la ville (où le pays) où ces activités ont eu lieu. ``

I have responded directly by email. I don`t have used a form.


- Work experience: May 2011-now Company XYZ Project leader Montréal

- No change since May 2011: same adress, no children etc...

So u submitted Police Clearance Certificates with your application and they asked you again for you Police Clearances?

I applied in Jan 2012 and had my medical done in May 2012. Submitted my police clearance certificate in dec 2012. March 2012, received an email requesting work history, police clearance and right of landing fee.
I was able to get police clearance through www.accuratebiometrics.com, in one day. However they are not accepting that and want me to get the report through traditional means which takes 1- 3 months. Have to get my finger prints then mail to FBI so they can send me the report. I have no choice to comply with their request.

Thanks for that info...guess i submitted mine with the package itself...so dont know if they will ask for my PCCs again...if/when my file comes up for RPRF...lets see..
