Any good news, 2011 applicants? Nothing from my side. Hopefully my meds will reach Ottawa by December 16th.

U don't have to pay full fees.. if you are on Workpermit and has CSQ.. you can talk to university to pay local fees :)

Are you sure? Because I heard you have to pay full fees if you have only CSQ. I mean they count federal immigration for study ( Permanent Residant card)

i tried with CSQ only before with Teluq, and they said I have to have PR. So, maybe it depends on which university u attend. For now, it way too early to say apply for SP or not. So, wait and see and by march we will see if ur wife needs get admitted first.

u need study permit but u don't have local fees. I tried in Concordia and it worked well for me

In university of Montreal, if you have a CSQ, you will automatically be eligible for local fees, as long as your Federal PR application is processed at these offices:

CTD de Vegrevillle, CIC de Mississauga-CTD, CIC de Montréal, CIC de Québec, CIC de Hull,
CIC de Sherbrooke, CIC de Trois-Rivières.»

hi guys,

I've sent my Federal Part Doc's to Buffalo, NY over a month ago, as told by BIQ Montreal. As I could read, they take their time. so, i don't expect an answer anytime soon.

latest news : Persons lawfully admitted to the United States for Permanent Residence who are in possession of their alien registration card (Green card) or can provide other evidence of Permanent Residence in the United States no longer must submit passports once granted permanent residence of canada

Great one step less

@iTTECH,

Some people received E-mail where they said " This is to advise you that your application for permanent residence has been received and that a file has been created for the Regional Program Centre (RPC) in Buffalo. The RPC will be processing your files. Therefore all correspondence and enquiries must be sent to the RPC. Your new application and paper file numbers appear above." But, the address at the bottom of the e-mail is : case Processing Pilot - Ottawa | Centre de Traitement Pilote - Ottawa - 40
Citizenship and Immigration Canada | Citoyenneté et Immigration Canada
219 Laurier Avenue West Ottawa ON K1A 1L1 | 219 avenue Laurier Ouest
7th Floor | 7ème étage, Section B
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1 Canada
Facsimile | Télécopieur 613-946-6059

Did you receive such an E-mail? In that case, its better to contact them and ask where exactly your file is.

@stanka

I have quick question, just checked my status of the application..

As you know I submitted my passport after the received the letter from New York to submit mine and my wife passport. I sent them passport on 28th Nov. I just checked my status online and it says now: Decision made

Can you please suggest, what does that mean ?

Here is the whole status written below
"
We received your application for permanent residence on October 20, 2010.

We started processing your application on November 21, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. "

Do I need to worry or it is just stamping on my passport ? please let me know friends!!

Hi Everyone,

This is my first time on this forum and from following the conversation so far, i will like to join to stay abreast with whats going on with the Quebec application. I hope to submit my application by the end of this month but i have some questions:

1. With the work experience acquired over the last five years what exactly did people submit?
- Are letters the same as certificates from places they have/are interning?
- a copy of your work books and/or record of contributions to social security related to your work experience (can someone please explain this)
2. Can i use any public notary to certify my documents such as copy of my diploma or i have to go back to my school?

Thanks
