You should have more than 10 posts and then go to Profile> Forum profile information (on the left hand side)..you get a the input boxes for inputting your info

Any idea how we should proceed when it's more than 14 months now that I have applied to buffalo ? I already sent them an email three weeks ago and they said it's in process ! Am getting anxious !!!

Since they told you in process then you have to wait.. i guess it`s a background check taking all this time to finalize your file

I would like to know like how often quebec skilled worker applicant gets interview in buffalo... is it common??
I know that it depends on the case but in general how often do QSW applicant gets interview in buffalo?

guys, just be patient, if u check trackkit, u will find in the past years, buffalo never made ppr in early january for Quebec skilled worker stream, it always started in the late january or beginning of Feb.

btw,, i guess (or i should say i hope) the overall speed of 2012 should be faster than 2011, since there were less applicants in 2011 than 2010.

Can you kindly share the source of information regarding the number of applicants in each year?

some1 post that the visa officer replied his email telling him the cap for 2011 was reached by november, the post is somewhere in this thread, but i can't find it now (172 pages,,lol)

and about the numbers,,,,,,,,,,,,i think u can try cic official website, go media centre, then statistics (Sorry, we are not allowed to post links, u have to find it urself)

I got an email from Buffalo asking me to clarify gap periods in my background history - does this mean the file is now in progress? Cos I checked bankdraft after their email and it has still not been cashed.

a couple of my friends r also not encashed yet, after 3 months, so i will say don't worry too much about not being cashed.

and ur question, yes, that means they started processing ur file (or i should say "opening ur application package" ), and if ur file was rite (ur file is actually not rite), they would assign u a file number, and go to the bank and cash the bank draft u submitted. now since you have gap in ur background history, they will not put it in file until u provide the rite info.

but still good news for u, at least they didn't simply send it back to u, all u need to do is to send the rite info to them, and then they can take ur file and go to bank to cash out.
