Praise God, things are moving once again! By the way a quick question for you friends. When they send you the PPR, what do they ask you to send in addition to the passport and the bar code? I believe we must send pictures, what are the dimensions? I'm due to go out of town soon thus if there is anything I can take care of in advance, I'd love to do so and be prepared. Thanks in advance for your answers and here's to us all getting good news soon!

I sent my application for Permanent Residence in February. So far I have received no AOR and cannot access my ECas. When I try check the status of my application with my Client ID number (on my work permit) here is the message I get:

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not yet begun processing it. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:
Application Processing Times
At this time, you may use this on-line service to view the status of your application ONLY if you have:
sponsored a member of the family class;
applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
applied for a permanent resident card (initial, replacement or renewal);
applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
applied to resume Canadian citizenship.

Is that possible, that I sent it in February and they haven't began my application? Is this normal or should I be worried. Thanks.

I think you can log into your e-cas only once you receive your AOR. What do you think AEO?

I guess that means that your file has not been created yet.
As far as I remember, I was able to access my file while the AOR was on the way.

nkusi is right but first let me say congrats for all the months you waited. i myself feel like i'm doing PhD because of all the pain and research i do for nothing sometimes... But also know you should soon hear something from Buffalo (within a month or so). So, don't get discouraged dude! plz.

About your issue with Ecas and as nkusi mentioned, you may not need to wait for AOR before accessing the system. With your Client ID we can see what's happening BUT to see that the system needs to be activated by VO. So, it is normal that up to now you'rent able to view/access the application.

Buffalo once told me we take a minimmum of 30 weeks to create the info and start processing the file. Now till they begin processing you wont see a thing.

However, i had a strange scenario : Buffalo did not use my Client ID but they created a new one so till July 1 I could only view my file info from Visa file no. I guess that they thought Client ID is too old and tried giving me a new one. I had to communicate with IT services to have my file switched back. So, normally like nkusi said you should be able to view File info when it's activated and dont need to wait for AOR. In some weird case like mine, you need the File#.
