May be this is the reason for slowing the application process... What all think please share..

"In Canada Most universities and colleges usually run from early September until the end of April or early May. Often, this winter session is split into two terms running September to December and January to April. Various forms of summer studies may be offered May to August. Some, such as University of Waterloo and Simon Fraser University, run a full tri-semester system, providing full courses during summer."

How long does it usally take for ecas to update my status from 'in process' to 'medical results received'?

I received a request for payment of RPRF and medical request on March 22, 2016. Paid for the fee the day after and had the medical exams a few days later. The receipt number for the RPRF is now associated with my account, but until now, more than a month after, CIC still hasn't received my medical results. My visa office is Manila.

Any insights would be very helpful. Thanks

For all waiting and followers of the forum

Please could you fill out your profile with your timeline details indicating your country of residence and visa office. That would be really helpful to all of us to compare the stats.

Check out mine for an example.

Thanks.

Dear all,

We just received our CSQ, finally! We are currently completing the forms, and my question is, if the form is not applicable, for example, additional dependent, do I still need to include it in the application package and put "Not Applicable in the boxes" as well as Supplementary-travel form?

Another question, how would I know my CSQ number? Is it the Program Record Number or the Reference Number Individual? Thanks! Kindly help me accomplishing the forms.

To Complete your application it is better to print the form:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5690E.pdf

regarding the forms whevever it is not applicable, you don't have to include it. like the line number 3 in the check list, for me i don't have more than 5 dependant, so I jut did not selected it on the Check list and I did not include it with the application.

Additional Dependants/declaration (IMM 0008DEP) (If applicable)

The CSQ number is referred on your CSQ Letter under:
2. Numero du dossier : DA00000****

The copy that should be sent to the immigration is the one at the bottom with:

2- IMMIGRATION. CANADA

Many thanks! Another question is, do we still need to submit school and work documents along with the application forms? Or no need? Thanks again.
