In my opinion from Jan 2016 all federal application process very quickly. So I create this topic for share the experience whoes submit federal application after Jan 2016.
Please share what stage in you are and do you need any help.

i have applied for CSQ -July 2011
Get CSQ: 20th january 2016
Apply Federal 10th march 2016
I am waiting for AOR

Hi everyone,
My federal application was recieved on 23rd March. I had a PEQ(csq) and i am applying from quebec. Waiting for AOR. Some inland applicants got aor between 40 to 55 days so not expecting aor until May.

My timeline (inland applicant):

Federal stage application was submitted to Sydney, NS on September 18, 2015.
AOR received on January 4, 2016.
We started processing your application on January 4, 2016.
Medical results have been received on January 5, 2016.

There has been no further communication since then.

Has anyone succeded to fill the Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] (PDF, 496.57 KB) online for the past month. I have been trying to fill mine but the form will not open in a fillable format. All they tell me is that;

Can someone help me out? I have the most upgraded version of Adobe on my macbook and I have also tried on my wife's windows computer but it still wont open in a fillable way.

We had the same issue. We finally opened it on a desktop, not a lap top. We copy pasted the URL and opened it independently. Hope this helps.
