Thankyou so much for letting me know.

I need help on how to correctly enter my work history. Here’s what I have:

  • Feb 2020 – March 2022
  • Jan 26, 2022 – May 2023
  • Feb 13, 2023 – March 17, 2023
Can I list them together under the same year if they overlap, or should I enter them separately? What’s the best way to format this so it gets accepted?
I am really scared as i couldn't mention my study and work permit details and dates in it. My eligibility period was from 2020 to 2025 and my study permit was back in 2016 so i couldn't mention it in the system. However i submitted my permits in additional documents but can anyone please help me if it is okay or not? should i submit another webform with the details of my study permit and work permit ?

Work permit and study permit start and end dates could be mentioned under Immigration and citizenship status part of the application.. But there is no need to submit permits under additional documents.

We mentioned overlapping experiences separately. You can start each experience from February 2020 and till the end of the job.

I forgot to mention it in the immigration and citizenship status tab. Will i be in trouble for that? Should i submit a webform explaining it to the ircc?

Clarification on Entering Employment History in Separate Columns

Hi everyone, I’m filling out my employment history for my eligibility period (Feb 18, 2020 – Feb 17, 2025). During this time, I worked P/T and casual with different employers, but the start and end dates are in the same month and year for some jobs. How should I list these? Should I enter each job in a separate row even if they overlap in the same month?

Additionally, I had two jobs that started in 2018 and ended in Feb 2020, which means they partly fall outside my eligibility period. Should I still include them, or should I only list jobs from Feb 18, 2020, onward?

Would appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks!
Only list the jobs that fall within the eligibility period.

I was wrong.
I checked just now. There is no need to mention Canadian work permit, study permit or visit visa statuses .It says
"Do you currently, or have you ever held immigration or
citizenship status in a country or territory other than Canada"
So you only need to mention statuses in other countries.
Did you provide any letter of explanation with additional documents submitted?

No , i did not submit letter of explanation as i only submitted my study and work permit along with notice of assessment for last 5 years including health card and drivers license, also the ontario college certificates and expired ielts result. I did not submit any letter with it. Will it create any trouble?

I am not sure if it will be a trouble. In the above thread link, they've told them to apply again for submitting birth certificate under additional document with suggestions how to apply again.

No need to submit study permit , work permit and Notice of assessments. Just need to answer yes or no for tax related questions. Health card or drivers license only needed to upload under personal identity documents. Ontario college certificate is only needed if it is submitted as proof of knowledge of English.

Hey guys I’m applying for the Citizenship. I haven’t file the tax return for 2024. So in the tax return section what should be the answer for this question "were you required to file taxes for 2024”? Please if someone can help me here.
Thanks
