Clarification on Entering Employment History in Separate Columns

Hi everyone, I’m filling out my employment history for my eligibility period (Feb 18, 2020 – Feb 17, 2025). During this time, I worked P/T and casual with different employers, but the start and end dates are in the same month and year for some jobs. How should I list these? Should I enter each job in a separate row even if they overlap in the same month?

Additionally, I had two jobs that started in 2018 and ended in Feb 2020, which means they partly fall outside my eligibility period. Should I still include them, or should I only list jobs from Feb 18, 2020, onward?

Would appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks!

I tried to mention my previous work experience which was between 2018 to 2020 and it did not allow me to save that one and had an error that " the experience you submitted it out of your eligibility period". I think they only want 5 year eligibility period experience.

I couldn't even mentioned about my study permit back in 2016 cause it didn't let me save that one by showing same error.

Physical Presence – Count from Arrival or Eligibility Period?

Hi everyone, I’m filling out my physical presence calculator and need clarification.

My eligibility period is from February 20, 2020, to February 19, 2025. I first came to Canada as an international student in December 2017, got a work permit in June 2019, and became a permanent resident in December 2021.

Should I count my physical presence from the day I first arrived in Canada (December 2017), or only from the start of my eligibility period (February 20, 2020)?

I know pre-PR days count as half-days, but I want to make sure I’m only including the correct time frame. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thankyou so much for letting me know.

I need help on how to correctly enter my work history. Here’s what I have:

  • Feb 2020 – March 2022
  • Jan 26, 2022 – May 2023
  • Feb 13, 2023 – March 17, 2023
Can I list them together under the same year if they overlap, or should I enter them separately? What’s the best way to format this so it gets accepted?

honestly, i didn't had that kind of overlapping experience so i don't know how it will work. But if i would have given it a try to mentioned exactly same dates as it is and see if it accepted or not, otherwise i guess you can explain it in the comment below.

I am really scared as i couldn't mention my study and work permit details and dates in it. My eligibility period was from 2020 to 2025 and my study permit was back in 2016 so i couldn't mention it in the system. However i submitted my permits in additional documents but can anyone please help me if it is okay or not? should i submit another webform with the details of my study permit and work permit ?
