Hi @vman123 , did you get any updates ? I am in same boat wherein my wife doesn't have IELTS results, she has done her bachelors in India and has been working here for last 3 years in IT and I want to upload her degree certificate as proof. wanted to check if you got any update on this?
Hi! I can answer this. I didn’t complete any IELTS either and only used my BSc certificate in my application. My language status (alongside everything)is now showing “completed” and I’m just waiting for the oath ceremony to be scheduled.

Hi Guys,

Can anyone help me with this info

I want to apply for Citizenship for me and my wife.

I got my PR via express entry in 2019 and then I took IELTS in 2017. My wife got her PR via spousal application .

For Citizenship proof for my wife, can I upload her bachelor’s degree certificate from India, and she is working in IT for last 10 years both in India and also in Canada combined, any of this would help for language? Did anyone did this personally and worked?

For myself, I don’t know how I can retrieve my IELTS results from 2017?

Any info would be helpful

Thanks
Yes, I did. It worked for me. You can upload her bachelors degree certificate.

Question:
Has anyone who selected a virtual ceremony during the application, later instructed to attend an in-person ceremony? Does this happen?

Question:
Has anyone who selected a virtual ceremony during the application, later instructed to attend an in-person ceremony? Does this happen?
We don't select whether we want a virtual or in-person ceremony during the citizenship application process. The application only asks us to choose the type of certificate (e-cert or paper cert), not the ceremony format. IRCC ultimately decides whether the ceremony will be virtual or in-person, and this decision isn't based on our selection of e-cert or paper cert. We confuse the two (cert and ceremony) :)

For example, my spouse and I each submitted separate applications—mine in February and his in March. We both selected e-cert during application, assuming we would automatically be assigned a virtual ceremony. However, both of us were assigned to an in-person ceremony.
Hope this answers your question.
