Outland sponsor submitted online IRCC PR portal on Feb 1st, 2024
Sponsor: PR (Just became canadian citizen on May 15th, do I have to call in my citizenship to ircc for my spouse application?)
PA: Syria
Sponsor Approval: Mar12
BIL: Mar13
BIL complete: Mar16
Aor: N/A (Ghost Update May20th,2024)
I received this letter on Mar 12th, 2024 (received by sponsor) in a pdf form
Dear Sir/Madam,
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on
behalf of (name of PA) and family (if applicable).
We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.
Reminder – Your undertaking is an unconditional promise of support
The undertaking you signed is an unconditional promise to financially support and provide basic
requirements for your sponsored relative(s). This undertaking is not broken by such changes as the
granting of Canadian citizenship, divorce, separation, relationship breakdown, moving to another
province, or a change in your financial situation. Your obligations as a sponsor begin as soon as your
sponsored relative and, if applicable, their accompanying family members become permanent residents
of Canada. This undertaking cannot be cancelled once permanent resident visas are issued to them.
The Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) will be forwarded to the visa office in
Amman for further processing.

The next day Mar 13th, 2024 received BIL status changed to complete on 16th. However we have not received an AoR as of today.
Sent a webform to IRCC visa office in Amman (where application has been forwarded) but no respone
1- Am i expecting an actuall AoR? If not,
2- Can i use BIL for TRV application?
3- anyone who applied for TRV based on the policy on May26 2023 to fast track spousal visit visa can share time line and how to apply for that in details please?
4- what will happen after? Currently, the PA background check is in progress received a ghost update on May 20th, 2024
