Hi there,

I have a question about my citizenship application. I recently applied for myself and my kids (aged 9 and 7). In one of my kids application, I mistakenly wrote place of birth Canada instead of UAE (the correct country). However, in my application, the kids original birth certificate is attached showing the correct info. Also, In all my previous applications for the same kid, the place of birth information has always been correct.

Congratulations I have already updated the spreadsheet. The next step is you will have to register for Citizenship Tracker 48-72 Hours after AOR.
Holidays & weekends are sometimes not counted
the time is considered from when you got your AOR email, so if you got it at 10:00 am...... you need to check it 48-72 hours after 10:00 am

@PR->Citizen->OCI can you update the spreadsheet. I just got my AOR today! quick question, what is next step after this? im just confused about process ECAS? what is that? you will receive another email from IRCC that they will process ECAS?

Hi , need your inputs: while filling the Physical absence, if we had travelled to work to US regularly, does it come under "Work and travel(working holiday)" or select the option "other" and then give the explanation in description filed? I am not pretty much aware of this working holiday, hence the question arised. thankyou

wouldnt that be the business trip selection? cuz it was for work.

How do you tell whether you have received AOR?

I just received an email with PDF. There is my UCI and application number in the PDF. Also, in that PDF, it states " This is to acknowledge the receipt of your application to Canadian citizenship."

Is this AOR?

I'm on the same boat just received mine yesterday and not sure if that is the AOR and what will be the next steps. I think we going to wait for the next 48 hours- 72 hours for processing of ECAS I think but not sure to be honest.
