Hi I want to clarify the Citizenship application Question: Do you currently, or have you ever held immigration or citizenship status in a country or territory other than Canada (this includes your country of birth)?

My husband and I lived and worked in Dubai, UAE since 2014. Then landed in Canada as PR on Feb 27 2020.

Since we only have to declare between the eligibility period 2018-2023, does this mean we have to declare all of our travel even just for short term visits/tourism between that period? For example we travelled to Armenia, Korea and the Philippines (our home country where we hold Citizenship in) between 2018- 2023. Then for the times that we are not travelling outside Dubai should we just specify those dates as Worker?

E.g. Feb 2018-April 2018 - Dubai, UAE - Status: Worker
Apr 1, 2018-Apr 7, 2018-Armenia Status: Other (then in the notes section type in "Tourist"
Apr 7, 2018-Nov 19, 2019- South Korea Status: Other (then in the notes section type in "Tourist"
Nov 19, 2019-Dec 20, 2019-Dubai, UAE Status: Worker
Dec 21, 2019-Dec 27, 2019-Philippines -Status: Other (then in notes type in "Visit to Home country"
Dec 27, 2019-Feb 5, 2020 -Dubai, UAE Status: Worker

Does this sound right? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Hi all.

I sent my application online on Feb 4 and received my AOR via email on February 17. I am still not able to locate myself on ECAS.

When I access to my online account where I sent the application it still doesn't show that they have sent me the AOR (only showing "Application Submitted! .This is not your acknowledgement of receipt (AOR)."

When does that usually change? Will I not be able to locate myself on ECAS until that changes?

Thanks for your help!

ECAS only works for paper application. You have to use the new tracker(https://tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/) to check status of your application. Use UCI(without '-') and application number mentioned in your AOR Email to create account.

Have a question. Hope to find some answers.
I applied online for my citizenship on Feb 8, 2023. I received an email (with a pdf copy) of acknowledgment with an application number on Feb 24, 2023
That letter stated that IRCC will review the application and supporting documents and contact you if additional information is required. Also provided in the letter were links to the citizenship test document/booklet and a link to the citizenship application tracker. I am assuming this is AOR, correct? I am confused because usually, AOR takes up to 3 months or more to arrive.

Another issue is that I have been trying to create/register for the citizenship tracker but have not succeeded. My question is is it necessary to register for the citizenship tracker? In case am unable to, can I still receive information for tests, oaths, etc.?

If second ID doesn’t have a photo on it, will it be accepted? I have Quebec ramq health card and they don’t issue photo on it.
Don’t have any other secondary ID.

has anyone submitted secondary if without photo ?

what should I be doing
