Now, they sent me a letter which states that my police certificate is NOT correct, while it IS correct according to my knowledge and has all the relevant stamps. I have written a letter of explanation and since then never heard back from them. Will this cause a significant delay?

Is it more than 6 months old? Also I heard that if you were staying in your home country for more than 183 days you don't need to give a PPC. What is your case?
